Yep, and that works awesome for the limited number of nights a week that everyone in the guild can commit to.

That may be good for you. Or you may be the type of player that has the luxury to play all day, every day.

For me, I'd like to see more group content, more often.

Why does that concept seem so offensive to you?

Lol @ offensive. Gee someone is really sensative. Sorry that I would prefer not to see SWTOR follow the same path of WoW with empty zones and people standing around on the fleet telling Chuck Norris jokes all day. That does not define MMORPG. If you have limited time knowing that MMO's are a time sink, why do you play them?

Heck, if you want more people to play with, come to The Swiftsure. It's only a standard pop server but I have had no issues finding groups.

Please tell us which Utopian Server you play on that does not currently have dead planets and a fleet full of people begging for Groups?

Neither does yelling LFG in chat all day and not ever getting a group together to run the FP/raid you want to run define an mmorpg. Also, really WoW is not as bad as you and many others would like to exaggerate to make it seem.

We have quite a few people on my server too. Also, I'm in a very active guild, so getting a party with them is no problem. But a LFG tool can only make it even easier and better to do that.

As for the empty znes and over-used internet jokes, that's going to happen in mmos, LFG tool or not. Especially in started zones and zonesnot as popular as others, most definately in an mmo's later years.
Inquisitor > all other classes. Yep, I totally went there.

Here is a question. How many of you came from consoles into MMO's?

Actually in the world of "restarts"(as you mentioned above), 90% of the times, LFG works like a charm.
Also, i rather be negative about X number of PUG's than never have an opportunity to do any flashpoints and sit in a ghost-town.

It's because of people like you that this game is still stuck in the bloody 1990's.

All this community that people keep jabbering about..you won't have any of it left if you keep on supporting these antique MMO concepts. You hardly have people left on more than half the servers. Just reading the post as the one above makes me cringe as to the mindset of people who are playing this game.
The MMO market and demographic has changed, accept it, adapt, build on top of those ideas and flourish.
Not step back in the damn 90's and make a nostalgic MMO with fewer functions than the current ones and fail miserably, which is what has happened, and people like the one that I quoted above enabled it. It sounds harsh, but is the truth.

I bought my first console just a few months ago and have 2 games for it, what does that tell you? I'm 34 years old, and have been a PC gamer since I was 7.

Why do you ask?
How do you measure the success of an MMO?

Just wondering why everyone wants to turn MMO's into console games, that's all.
