So SWTOR is going to be ruined because of a couple hours of downtime here and there when during WoWs launch there were DAYS you couldn't log in for and it is the largest MMO around.

LOGIC FTW!

Agreed, TOR is not what we had hoped for. Were did this inflated hype come from?
It could not have been our fault as we ONLY know what we Know about the game from BW and all they posted about it.
Hence, they "BW" gave us the hype, and so we took it at face value...... bad on us

SWTOR is dying, 2 mill sold at launch, maybe 2.5. mill total by now, they're down to 1.3. mill (free month is included im sure) They've lost way too many, and Elder Scroll Online is coming in 2013 to give that last push.

OP, you really couldn't post this in one of the hundreds of other threads saying the exact same thing?

As the great Master Tyler Durden tell us: "Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else."

If you're not having a good time, then I wish you well in another game.
Below this is my referral link. If you press it you get free stuff and I get free stuff. This makes you, me....and Bioware happy, but don't let that stop you!

Downtime - Yeah I'm not real happy about this either but then again I run weird hours.
Stability - I've not had any issues on my server.
Lore - Plenty of lore IMO. I can't think of many other MMOs that have a built-in codex. Feel Star Wars-y to me.
Space Combat - I've run hundreds of space missions and my only complaint is that I wish they had level 50 versions of all the lower level missions. Would a JTL space combat sim be nice? Sure I suppose, but I don't want them to remove what's already in the game.
Load Times - I only have long load times when loading planets...which is why I don't run WZs from anywhere that takes a while to load. Not game-breaking to me.

Everything on your list is entirely passable to me.

Yeah, because five months totally tells the story on an MMO that's getting ready for a big expansion. Oh, and just how bug free do you expect Elder Scrolls to be?

Not even going to respond to the rest of your post...this point right here made it clear you really don't even play the game do you.

One can criticize SWTOR for many things, but the Lore isn't one of those things. There is a helluva lot of Star Wars happening in this game, on par with previous KOTOR releases, and perhaps a 100 fold more Star Wars than SWG ever had. If you can't see how BioWare 'gets' Star Wars with the evidence plainly before you, then you really don't understand Star Wars at all.

I agree to miss the Star Wars lore you would have had to space bar through every quest in the game.

I'm starting to realize how much I really hate pessimists. I've pretty much gotten rid of their influence in my real life. All my friends and close associates are optimists. My life is so much better for it.

The only place I run into a barrage of pessimists is online game forums. They're like dementors from Harry Potter, lol, sucking all the joy out of life.
