One maintenance period per week should be more than enough.

They took the system down to fix something they broke in the first place...incompetent coders, incompetent QA and a non-existent testing environment means a craptastic patch gets pushed to your production boxes...this gross incompetence and gross negligence are truly pathetic...why anyone would renew their sub is beyond me...

Not that I know of. Earlier today in the launcher (not there anymore) it listed that mission items can disappear if blah blah, and matrix cubes disappearing if blah blah.

Ah yes because when I login and find my one of my slot items missing thats not important???

I might as well try doing an Op without my chest piece.

And forgive me for not keeping a back up Relic just in case BW decided to balls things up.

And the Matrix Cube is better than the Columi Relics that drop and I haven't won a suitable (or even seen a suitable) Rakata drop yet.

BW "lost" lots and lots of peoples items and it should be fixed in a hot fix. Sorry if you lsoe 4 hours of gameplay but I spent longer than that getting my matrix cube (when you include all the stupid travelling and loading) so think it's fair that they fix a fairly royal **** up asap.

Because a small amount of players want there worthless matrix cubes back, mines been sitting in storage for a month now.

In a fight where you have to bring your every best, gimping yourself with a loss that large can very well make the difference between success and fail. Shaddup, watch a movie, cook a cheesecake, read the news, wax some tadpoles, take a nap, something. Quite often the 4 hour maintence is less than 2. Personally, I feel with today's technology, they should be able to do it live or in 15 minutes, not an hour or 2 hours.

Good grief, are you so self obsessed that you're happy to stop other people playing because it's harder to do hardmode and nightmare ops for a few days? Newsflash, if you're finding it too hard without a cube, don't do them until they fix it, or maybe do it on normal? It's impossible for some people to use their common sense.
And going by what you're saying, they should be fixing the massive companion bugs first, seeing as they affect more people than the cube.
PROPER SPACE COMBAT PLEASE

I made a matrix cube once, back in December last year. I've since vendor'd it.

Here's a novel idea...MAYBE THE PATCH SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROPERLY TESTED TO ENSURE THE SYSTEM WOULDN'T NEED TO BE TAKEN DOWN YET AGAIN TWICE IN ONE WEEK...and your only losing 4 hours argument is irrelevant and insignificant as the system did NOT need to be taken down as the issue was NOT gamebreaking--can you login? Yes. Can you play? Yes. Not gamebreaking, can wait until the next regular maintenance window

if you think taking off a relic slot would make an OP in this game hard you are either bad or just slow....
