This Saturday I went to see the Avenger's spent $20. I was entertained pretty well for about 3 hours.

Last Night was raid leading HM EC for 3 hours. Downed Toth and Zorn and nearly killed the tanks. After Raid I logged out, and spent 8 hours finishing the story-line for my Jedi Knight. If you can log in and enjoy playing the game. $15 a month is cheap.

People spend more money on Cigarettes.

You can't even get a bottle of good liquor for $15.
I make a really solid wage, something I'm quite proud of. You're right $15.00 isn't much.
The thing is though, I too went and spent $20 on the Avengers ($33 if you include popcorn and drink). And you know what's funny? I had no problem with that. I feel like I got what I payed for and was absolutely satisfied.

I log into SWTOR and try to run a FP and I'm inexplicably booted. Of course that's after two hours of standing at fleet trying to find a team to -do- the flashpoint. I'm glad that you feel satisfied. I truly am. I, however am not and to me- whether it is 'just $15' or not is far from the point. I have paid for something and am not satisfied. Period.

After 5 months, if you are willing to settle for mediocrity, so be it, but the truth of the matter is, that if this game didn't have brand association, it would be spiraling around the toilet bowl as a cautionary tale to developers.

I just ordered a hamburger, but they only gave me the bun even though the menu promises that I will in fact end up with meat.

I guess I should just deal with it, give them my money and hope that somewhere along the line they decide to give me the meat.

Bioware doesn't have the time and frankly without RIFT paced updates over the next couple of months the sub numbers are going to take a devastating fall again.
Taking that stance, WoW would never have been created. In all actuality, out of all these MMOs come and gone, how many were "firsts" for the development team? Not a real practical statement, there.

I am certainly willing to give the game more time, because I am still enjoying this game immensely. As someone else here said, you have to make the decision on whether you think your time and money are worth it. To many people, it is - to many others it is not. In either event for those who complain about things like lack of end game, perhaps suggesting what a good end game should be might help. After all, just because you don't like the end game here, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. From what I have seen, it is the end game in many MMOs, Tera and GW2 included.

It shows that people have had it with giving Bioware time and arent even logging on anymore.
Yes, because if you don't game 24/7 then you don't love the game. I'm as hardcore as you can get, and I don't even have the time to log in every day. And then's there's such a thing as gamer burn-out. No matter how much you enjoy a game, it's also good to take a break now and then to refresh.

The fact that fewer people are logging in on a weeknight is par for the course. Many have left because they have found the game is not for them, but many also don't feel the need to be one with the game. Just like a relationship, the newness and excitement has worn off, we are entering the comfort zone now.

Hello ppl, we're in the 21st century and I EXPECT a great game in this day and age especially from an IP such as this. If every other game can come out and function and, at the very least, have nice graphics, then why can't this game as well???
Just checked all my games from the early 90's. Not sure what system you are using, but the game looks pretty damn good to me. Check the hyperbole at the door.

Ever since Beta people have used the give them time this game is only X old. So at what point can people not use this excuse anymore? A year? It's getting old.

Nah. It's more like people went to McDonalds, thought the word "hamburger" meant "lobster" when they ordered, and then got upset when their sandwich had beef instead of lobster.
