As far as gamebreaking, here's a little hint...it's no less gamebreaking than you having to log off the game for a few hours.
So spend a few thousand to buy a relic that'll boost your power by a couple hundred for 20 seconds or whatever? I'm unsure any of my characters are even using their matrix relics.

Not when it is needed. For instance, tonight is a good example when extra maintenance is acceptable.
Crosswire - Republic Commando
Commander - The Way of the Maker Christian/Family-rated Guild
Ebon Hawk

I want them to fix broken things like matrix cubes or people with connection/crash issues, as soon as they can.

I play 5-10 hrs a day. I consider myself a casual gamer. Casually PvPing and RP ing daily since 1997. I miss the game I am currently playing when it is not available but understand maintenance happens.

I think this is a funny thread. It is a thread against fast and timely fixes to critical issues. Just the other day someone else had a thread wihch said that Bioware didn't fix critical things fast enough. So basically, what the OP is saying is that Bioware can't win either way. People complain about persistent bugs... people complain about bug fixes... so basically, people just complain regardless.

Meh...if there's maintenance, I just play another game, like Minecraft, Skyrim, or any number of other video games that I keep installed on my PC. In fact, I might start a new Minecraft map tonight since I haven't played it after Mojang added the new height parameters, that is if I don't fall asleep from being over-worked the past few days, lol.

Bugs slip through all the time, simply because there are more interactions than can be controlled for in a testing environment. I don't doubt that you let go of some people, but not because they let bugs get through.

You have no idea what the specific circumstances are that caused the bug or what the differences are between the internal testing environment and the live environment. You are speculating.

This isnt downtime to fix old persistent bugs which have had a mountain of posts about over months. Its to fix something which they broke without enough QA/testing yesterday.

Bioware fixing today things they just broke yesterday =/= in general fixing critical quickly.

There are mountains of what players consider to them as critical which Bioware obviously does not consider critical.

So if you have your head far to close to Biowares personal space then yes you will only see them as damned if they do damned if they dont. Apples will never be oranges but feel free to compare them ad nauseum.

You can find SOMETHING to do while Bioware fixes important items. Seriously. Go find something else to do. Read a book. Play a different game.
