The crystal shards for the cubes people lost are already in their Mission Items inventory.. once they apply the patch, all anyone needs to do is go back and re-assemble it.

That is the thing that annoys the hell out of me.

Meh servers will probably be up by 8.00pm AEST which is prime time. I appreciate BW moving maintenance time fwd by 2 hours.

As for this specific issue I want it fixed ASAP but they should have done the QA beforehand to ensure it didn't happen in the first place.

Or at the very least, let us test things on the Test Server which has just been sitting idle since 1.2 went live.

The players found these issues minutes after the patch went live today. How much time would BW have saved if they had just let us test it on the PTS first?

And this is the problem and why BW continues to jack things up--lousy coding, lousy QA, incompetent PM's, a non-existent testing environment and subs who let them off the hook instead of holding them accountable. Again we pay to play, I don't know if you're aware of that but it is true...SSOOOO that means when the system is down...we can't play...the system was already down once this week for regular maintenance...why wasn't the patch applied then...?? Why do we have to lose yet another day of play because of yet another BW screwup? This is NOT right, it's NOT acceptable and one of the many reasons people are leaving this hot mess in droves, it's 2012 and there are numerous successful MMO models out there BW could be using...and your 3.6 is completely irrelevant, not gamebreaking and the system should NOT be taken down for it ESPECIALLY with how other classes have been cut off at the knees and nothing has been done about it
I swear on my medical license! The real one!

Yes because there's god forbid never a new bug in a new patch...I mean every other MMO out there never has bugs..never releases bugs etc etc...should i continue?

I mean honestly if games suddenly had NO bugs then they're being created by computers that were created by computers that were created by a single perfect being..that guess what..doesn't...exist.

If it isn't game critical, that's exactly what they should do. And this isn't game critical. Just like they did with GTN searches.

I don't care if you missed something in last night's patch.
I don't care if you're adding Utopia.
I don't care that this or that person didn't make it to work.

You get the picture.

Consolidate your maintenance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twice a week is BS.

Edit: My position stands regardless of the matrix cube issue. Also it shouldn't take 4 hours to fix a matrix cube issue.
This really short-sighted. The fix is pretty major, and needs to be done. I'm not even going to login until it has been deployed, so the fact that there's maintenance means nothing to me.

You're losing sight of the big picture which is multi maintenance. Regardless of whether you think the reason is justified this week, think about all the other weeks we've had it. Twice/week multi-houred maintenance is unacceptable, period.
