But to have it happen every patch and every week is just sloppy.

So unlike the guy above me, I don't think "heads need to roll". I do think they need to sit down in a conference room and go over their release process to figure out what's going wrong and how to fix it, if they haven't done so already.
well, heads need to roll

they gave a 30 days pass - that is only given after careful evaluation and you can bet you arse they had that meeting you speak off.

then they come up with this patch that beside not fixing (not yet confirmed officially but you can find claim on the forums) two issues (crafted custom gear RE and cover) also adds what i also perceive as a major bug (yet not game breaking) (disappearing BiS gear).

well.. now heads gotta roll.

I will admit that it will be nice to get the latest round of issues cleaned up, but on the other hand double maintenance weeks are getting a little old and Bioware needs to get with it.

We all know that Bioware reported a 400k subscriber loss over the last three months and if these little things are not taken care of they will drop even more. After awhile people just get tired of waiting and move on.

Worst of all the fail company itself couldnt care less about the casuals because they know no matter how bad the broken patches are with the patches to patch the broken patches they will always have the die hard swtor suckers that will continue to pay that monthly fee for a game thats still in early beta condition.

Welcome to an MMO that hasn't been around for years...or just welcome to MMO's in general. quityerb1chin
What does the life of the MMO have to do with it? Are all the people working on this game new too?
Whats pathetic is the quality of work these clowns are putting out. The last game I played that had as many patches to fix patches that broke stuff while attempting to fix something else that was broken was Vangaurd saga of heros.
Ive played quite a few MMOs and these guys are by far the worst ive encountered so far when it comes to fixing things while breaking other things.

This may come as a complete and total shock ...but...some of us work nights and get home around 2AM CDT...so the system goes down right about the time we get home and get ready to play--it does really happen... [/SIZE]

And how do you know this since the patch notes won't be available until later? In any case, my MM Sniper is affected and my main toon is a level 38 Arsenal Merc with whom I run exclusively Mako...so tell me again how this is gamebreaking bug...?? Here's a little hint...IT'S NOT

So this patch is important enough for it to be right in Australian prime time. But not important enough to deploy right away which would be AMERICAN prime time.

Huh? How do I know what? That 72 (cunning on matrix cube) is 3.6% of 2000 (total cunning)? It's called math.
As far as gamebreaking, here's a little hint...it's no less gamebreaking than you having to log off the game for a few hours.

So they release a patch that breaks something completey unrelated to the original fix, and then have to take the sygstem down again to fix it, you think it's a smooth ride? If your auto mechanic destroys your muffler while performing an oil change, causing you to bring the car back, do you congratulate him on fixing the muffler? Or do you ask why they touched the muffler in the first place?
