Vanity items are fine as long as that is the only things in the shop, no items that give players an edge over everyone else. Mounts, pets, outfits, maybe some unique color crystals... that is fine with me.

I'd pay $25 for a black manta landspeeder that sat a friend/my companion in the passenger seat.

Even credits (would undercut goldsellers) and schematics? =( I spent soooo long trying to get the hooligan set, and it would've saved so much time if I could just buy the schematics with real money. I think they should just sell schematics so they don't make crafting useless.
Welcome to PvP, where it's socially acceptable for 40 year old geeks to beat up 12 year old boys.

Ok, this I wouldn't care about either, vanity items (colored armor, different look to armor, etc ..), mini-pets, mounts, this stuff they can MT all day long, hell, if it makes them more cash and lets them do more content because of it, I think they should do it asap.

But ... no pay-to-access-OP_XXXX or paying for high level armor or buying special powers or any of that crap, cosmetic/vanity only.

I'd love to be able to buy more character slots. That's my number one wish by far.

Other than that, I wouldn't mind seeing:

1. Purely cosmetic items (e.g., speeders, animal mounts, vanity pets, something that modifies the way a character's armor looks [but armor itself should not be in a cash store, as it has a direct in-game effect].)

2. Convenience items (i.e., items that don't let you do anything you couldn't otherwise do in game, but perhaps let you save a bit of time, e.g., an item that lets you send and receive mail when not near a mailbox, an item that lets you pay for repairs when not near a vendor) Caution must be exercised here, because it's a fairly slippery slope between convenience and advantage.

3. Maybe some extra space in my character's cargo hold.

EDIT: When I wrote "speeders," I really meant "speeder skins." I think the base speeder should still have to be paid for with in-game credits. Also, with regard to animal mounts, I'm also talking about skins that would be applied to animal mounts purchased in-game (assuming animal mounts are ever put in the game).

This begs the question. What makes the game better? If your experience is "better" if you just have everything for free, then you might not like RPG/MMO games like this where you have to build up your character and work to acquire rare or unique things.

I'm starting to like the idea of repair packs and quick travels.. maybe like 10 no c/d instant quick travels for 50c, 100 no c/d fleet travels for 1.00? hm

Pets and vehicles of course. I still think crafting mats could work.. or maybe a cash item that increases the amount of mats earned on a mission/likelyhood of a critical mission

Any sort of Cash Shop would make me leave and never come back to this game, as long as there is such a thing.

Why? Because I hate it. That simple. Been there, seen that, no thank you very much.
Even if those were only cosmetic items, which is how it always starts, jumping towards convenience items is not that far off and then small amounts of pay2win items and so on. Seen it all before.
However, even if we were to believe it would only be cosmetic items and nothing more, I wouldn't agree with that simply because Cash Shops do have an impact on game design. No matter what kind of items are actually being sold there. If a company wants your money those items better be good or better look good. Hence, the design team will be told to design nice shop items, which obviously would be some of those we desire most or would simply look much better than the ones obtainable ingame.

Don't have illusions folks, if it was simply the same robe we get as random drop but with a different colour, it wouldn't be very attractive at all.

Apart from that, I believe BW has messed up more than enough in only 6 months. People are running away because promises are not being kept and because for reasons unknown BW keeps on butchering the game and its mechanics.

Oh, and before I even want to hear anything about cosmetic Cash Shops, I'd like another promise fulfilled and that is finally something interesting for sale at this bloody CE vendor.

25% drop in subscriptions, server merges on the horizon and if they'd really announce a Cash Shop anytime soon, I'm pretty sure even more people would run away. Bad move.

When they will sell power.. I won`t be here the next day.

Vanity? I can`t care less... pets? whatever.

Just not tampering with the game mechanics.
