I can confirm this only affects people who had their matrix cubes equipped. I have one toon who still has his in his mission items tab because it wasn't equipped before the patch, but another toon's shard is gone because I had it equipped on him before the patch.

Server Name: Space Slug
Type of item missing (shard/cube) Matrix Cube Lvl 50
Name of missing item: Dont know the name, but it is the result for the three yellow shards for force users.

Everything is fine with my matrix cube (willpower, 3 of the same color, don't remember which color it was )
maybe because it was not equipped during the patch?
Everything was better in the past, even the future
