Giving everyone a free month is a pretty big indicator to me..

Sir, I direct you to my original post in this forum. At best, you're generalizing and speculating way too much. At worst, you're distracting from the reality of the issue.

I warn you: numbers are complicated, headache-inducing, and dull to the point of madness. I see chickens in my hair. Do you get what I'm saying?

Just look at my post a few pages back. It should be helpful.

Can you tell us how to protect our delicious virgin files from the evil lecherous EA overlords? Our files taste so much sweeter when kept pure!

Okay, I REALLY need to be getting to bed.
seen screenshots of it browsing through someone's tax filing program.

You want to tell me that's cool?

So every MMO ever has falling subscriber numbers? Netflix has falling subscriber numbers? Multiple high-speed data plans are losing subscribers? Most premium television services are losing subscribers?

RUN FOR THE HILLS!!! THE INFORMATION/MEDIA INDUSTRY IS COLLAPSING!!! SELL YOUR SHARES, EMPTY YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS, AND RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!!

Huh. That was actually rather cathartic. No wonder so many people QQ in their spare time.

well like you said that most people who are still sub are paying so it does sorta give the indication of true retention. tho i must say if bioware doesnt give new content quickly people are gona start unsubing for real reasons other then not wanting to pay. half the people i know who unsubed said they plan to play the game in like a year when theres a lot more content and then judge it then.

*sigh* I *really* prefer playing any game that involves shooting with ANYTHING other than thumbsticks to aim.

It was a pain to migrate my ME2 save files over as well.

In the end, not worth it, as the ending completely butchered the game, in fact, butchered the entire series.

It was the last Bioware game I had any expectations for.

Frankly, I was so disappointed with that game that it was one of the underlying causes that made me stop playing this game.

These links to "fallacies" are becoming somewhat of an internet meme. It's easier to just say, "I disagree". Anyway, I disagree and stand by what I said. They lost a hell of a lot of people without any stability in sight.

If they don't sub now though how will BW ever have the money to add more content?

Accusations of spying
Origin's End-user license agreement (EULA) gives EA permission to collect information about users' computers regardless of its relation to the Origin program itself, including "application usage (including but not limited to successful installation and/or removal), software, software usage and peripheral hardware."[35] Initially, the EULA also contained a passage permitting EA to more explicitly monitor activity as well as to edit or remove material at their discretion.[36] However, this section was removed following an outcry over privacy implications. That outcry was fueled in part by pictures and video captured by several German gamers which showed Origin accessing tax programs and other unrelated software, as well as a report by the newspaper Der Spiegel investigating the allegations.[37][38][39] In response to the controversy, EA issued a statement claiming they "do not have access to information such as pictures, documents or personal data, which have nothing to do with the execution of the Origin program on the system of the player, neither will they be collected by us."[40] EA also added a sentence to the EULA stating that they would not "use spyware or install spyware on users' machines," though users must still consent to allowing EA to collect information about their computers.[41]
