comparing wow with tera just further makes me lol at the fail that game will end up becoming

i mean i already figured the game was trash for being a korean mmo by the amount of casuals talking about it.i played korean mmos before i played american ones, they arent really made for casuals.i guess whoever the idiot is who made tera just decided to take a dump on what korean mmos are suppose to be and make some casualized crapfest american mmo like wow

What's the fun in an MMO working for months on end with little to no reward.

TERA has bouncing baloons aka *****, SWTOR doesn't.
SWTOR has very nice plotted stories, TERA doesn't.

Don't get me wrong. I have played TERA 1 year before you all. What you are calling the best game is nothing but another typical F2P Korean game with different skins.

I won't play it simply cause it's a Korean game. Korean games are too time consuming based on what I read about korean mmorpgs and this one won't be any different. Basically, until a Korean game developers specifically develops a mmorpg for westerners I won't bother with koreans mmorpg or any eastern asian mmorpg. The dumping down of a mmorpg to fit usa or western version is like a computer game being dump down for console games. That's why I don't play any console games.

wow, you are open minded, aren't you? I bet you'll be playing this game when it goes F2P, too?

I have played the last Tera Beta and Guild Wars 2 beta a few weekends ago.

Tera was cool. The combat was fun and the graphics looked great! But I didn't care for wall of text to get a quest. I was really missing VO's for that. I also know it didn't do so well in Korea but who knows how well it will do here in the states. I feel it's the same type of fantasy MMO that has been done before except the combat is different. I could just go play Rift, LotRo, D&D, or hell even WoW. Games that have already established themselves.
Also I didn't care for the 12 year old looking (Elin) toons, (yes I know the Lore says they are over 100 years old) and when I played a female Castanic all I saw was my *** while I ran in hot panties! lol
I will still buy Tera when it goes on sale, but it's not worth $50 IMO, and barely the $15 montly fee.

Now as for Guild Wars 2, I simply fell in love with it in the first 2 hours. They put exploration back into MMO's! The combat was great! The graphics where very good on my old machine and I loved the different class and professions. Also there was no "hand holding" and things where a challenge. I had a blast with the dynamic events but those could get dull like in Rift but time will tell. Also the world feels ALIVE. Not just other players but TONS of NPC's going about or chatting! The world of GW2 really felt alive compared to SWTOR or Tera.
There are some things that need to be improved on but it's still in Beta.

My bet is on Guild Wars 2 when it comes out, and I hope people give it a chance!

Its pretty cool. The world feels alive, the combat is different, and most importantly I actually see other freaking people.
Meanwhile, in Tera general chat -

"The sad thing is, arguing with fanbois on the forums was more entertaining than their 300 million dollar single player MMO from 2008"
