Please note: These numbers also do not include customers who came back and resubbed at the beginning of April for the 1.2 update. We know some did, we just don't know how many at this point.
Tekay —— En-ki —— T้kay —— Hassle —— Jaksen
Explorer (80%) • Killer (53%) • Socializer (47%) • Achiever (20%)
Excited Star Citizen — But ready to resubscribe when and if...

Up the ante for doing HM flashpoints. This would add huge incentive to do flashpoints. The HM daily quest reward should be scaled to the difficulty of the heroic completed, and should include Rakata and Black Hole tokens as appropriate:

The Black Talon: Keep as-is, "LFG quick daily BT HM" in General Chat makes my stomach turn
Boarding Party: Add 1 Rakata token
The Foundry, Directive 7: Add 2 Rakata token
The Battle of Ilum, The False Emperor, Kaon under Siege: Add 1 Black Hole token
Lost Island: Add 2 Black Hole token

If people sign on every day to do the daily, it will help the economy as well.
Then what do the 50's do in 3 weeks (or whatever it takes) when they have full Rakata / Black Hole gear?

According to Blizzard, active players at peak hour amount for 10 to 20% of a server pop.

Let's say there are 200 servers, to avoid the very bottom rung.

I'm going to say that there is, hmm....250 players at peak hour per faction per server.(I'm basis this number on personnal observation)

250 active players would mean at very minimum 5000 players thay play on a regular basis.

That still leave a solid million to TOR. If this number can be hold, we will be fine.

I guess perhaps I should seeing as Bio has been paying my sub for me for awhile now. LOL

Really the numbers where held up by some well timed Free month tokens for people that where not playing enough... better that then having to report that many more unsubs a few weeks before quarter end. It will be interesting to see what they do to keep subs the month before the next quarterly report.

Hmmm... 3 months for the price of one sale ?
... More Free months for anyone with a level 15+ legacy ?
... $10 off monthly Sub E-Coupons for everyone ?

I guess we'll see how they can rig the numbers next quarter.
I haven;'t gotten a spam email yet from Mako or Vette, don't know why.

I unsubscribed at least a week before BioWare tacked the 30 days onto my account.

August the game will have a 350% player increase.
Yuo my friend have no idea what you are talking about. Yes mathmatically that sounds right but people wont come to this game if so it wont triple the player base. This game is dying the mmo community rarely grows so they must take players from another game but that is this games problem in the first place it cant do it.

There are too many unknowables to make meaningful conclusions.

This is the only industry I know of where a 76% approval rating is a bad thing. BW is set to make Millions of dollars off SWTOR every year until they really screw it up. 1.2 was badly handled but that is one update, how many other MMO's had a bad update dropped subs, then turned it around with a good update. Look at LOTRO they bombed that game with a bad expansion (MOM), they bombed it further with a 2nd bad expansion (SOM), then they turned it around with a very good expansion.

Bioware... bad expansions(updates) ignore the player.... good updates give the player (customer) what they want.
It's because of the general trend of almost every MMO so far. Once the bleed starts it's doesn't stop quickly for almost every single MMO.

1.3 million is AWSOME!!!! If they stay there but that is just straight bleed with nothing new launching. We still have to get threw d3 GW2 and panadas.

BioWare claim that subscriber numbers haven’t dropped, but concurrent users at peak times have. This, Erickson says, is the reason why players are noticing a lot of ‘light’ server populations – and also why mergers are on the cards, but not a priority.

Is that like when they first reported 1.7 million, but then had to come back out and explain that that figure included people whose paid subscriptions "had not yet kicked in?"

It's not lying, but it's not totally honest either. If you don't think the suits are using smoke and mirrors to spin these things in the most favorable light, you're crazy.

Yeah the 1.3 million is still a bit up in the air.

If it's not counting free month people it's a lot more solid than if it is (if it is, then it could well be below 1m actual paying subs).
