Yeah, not only an official statement, but an official statement that makes the company look bad. So continue to be snarky and defend your point which is... what exactly?

Because this game doesn't need 100% retention to be profitable. That and a drop in subs was EXPECTED so it's not even a surprise. It's obvious from the vocal minority on this board that this game is not for everyone.

If the drop was expected, then why in the galaxy was Daniel Erickson telling us subscriptions hadn't changed just two weeks ago?

Lol not for those who singed up for a month because of 1.2, then cancelled very quickly after.

Lol keep on taking that blue pill, I am sure blissful ignorance is far better than the truth.

When you consider games like Final Fantasy XI at it's peak had about 500,000 active subscribers, and was considered very successful by MMO standards, I don't see how having 1 mil + subs = fail.

You mean like all the other MMOs in history?

Or do you mean the fact that SWTOR remains the second most successful launch ever with one of the best retention rates seen since Warcraft?

Which one?

That the game will continue, despite the doom and gloom. Boeing's stock is dropping, so i guess by your logic, they will go out of business by year's end as well, right?

It's comparing SWTOR West with AION global.

You're right, its not a surprise. 400,000 is a shock. Especially considering the game's life span.
