I will rephrase.

Losing 25% of your customers is too things

A)It's a bad thing for the fiscal POV, an obviously rather crucial POV. Investors (who are more than often than not linked to pension funds, at least in Canada) want progression. TOR don't progress ? They switch

B)It's a perfeclty admissible loss for a MMO after launch.

I think we should be given an apology for being lied to. We were told subs weren't being lost, that it was all in our heads and that people were just playing at 5am.

Diablo, Tera and GW2 will take another sizable chunk. Once Mists of Pandaria comes out this game will be f2p. Next time you make a wow clone make sure you have all the things wow has. Not launching with dual spec, lfg, server transfers etc was a big mistake.

These numbers are from before 1.2 was released.

Practically all MMOs in history have had a decent drop-off in subscriptions before it stabilizes and then either starts to get sucked into the death vortex, stagnates, or grows.

No, most don't get to 400k in a couple of months

Split across multiple servers.

The free 30 days did not factor into these numbers. Currently the population is unevenly distributed, resulting in low populations on a third of the servers. That's all.

So, if you were an investor with a large chunk of cash that you wanted to invest, would you bank on Bioware and EA based off the current report to bet your money on?

Really puts it into perspective, doesn't it?

Here's a new headline for you:

"SWTOR loses more subscribers in 2 months than most MMOs have over the course of their development!"
