Man these trolls needs to stick to their day jobs.

Funny that SWTOR is 1 of only 2 current subscription MMOs that have over a million subs, but it's failing... LOL

Try again.

Well, I predicted a larger decline...to 1.5 million. Guess that makes me a better analyst than him. I was closer to the mark.

The game is still raking in almost 20 million dollars a month. I don't know anywhere on earth where that is considered a 'failure'.
well it cost 300 million and operating costs are astronomical, so. lol

To the people who think "oh 1.3 is still good, way to go herpedyherpaderp!" you don't realize that stock prices are derived from market expectations which are derived from predictions. When you dip below those predictions your stock price takes a hit.

As it stands now..SWTOR is a business failure as it didn't meet expectations and EA is going to have to adjust future goals and target dollars to account for the steep decline in subs.
I don't you understand how a company who has dozens of subsidiaries and their income is from more than one game. Its really not that much of a steep decline. TOR can survive and do well.
Vehicles in SWTOR are NOT mounts.

I'm in sales, if I lost 25% of my accounts...I would be fired.
All MMOs in history, even WoW the industry leader lost a decent amount of subs, after a few years it peaked at 12 million.

All we factually know is that SWTOR is the second most successful MMO in history atm.

The released numbers do not reflect the new regions' population totals.

Because no MMO keeps growing after release. Every MMO has a dip in subscriptions sometime after release and then stabilizes with some people quitting and new people starting.

You can't compare MMO numbers to other business types because that's simply apples to oranges.

The free month stated 25th April , that's after the reporting period.

As for more than 1.3m, the population trends on TorStatus would suggest a decline from that number.

Anyone who initially subbed for 3/6 months is still included even if they have cancelled and no longer play.
