This is only going to get worse with the rest of the year stacked with release of much anticipated major titles.

If my account has 20 days on it but I have cancelled and quit playing are they still counting me? And what about the 30 day free people? Are they counting them too? If so the number is WAY smaller than that.

The numbers are going to be considerably lower once GW2 hits. They've got a month, tops, to start making major shifts in the PvP setup (PvE, to my eyes, is pretty well-developed as-is) and develop a real selling point beyond "COMING SOON!!" placebos. Also, there's no need for a server per paying customer, really, we're playing an MMO, having more than 2 active players on the same planet as us at any given time isn't going to detract from the playing experience.
i wouldnt really say its broken promises.its the community thinking that bioware could just snap there fingers and the promises they said would happen

heres the way the world works.your monthly fee provides bioware with money to make these so called promises they were promising.but when you get the impatient crybabys who's way of dealing with the problems in sw tor is unsubbing.then that gives bioware less money to implement these so called promises they made

but whatever,i just hope the same bunch doesnt move to gw2 and kill it the same way they did sw tor.i can totally see it happening.its like a landslide waiting to happen, first it will be gw2,then diablo 3,then they'll just go the next mmo until the only mmo with a sub fee is world of warcraft

its quite obvious.i just hope the same thing doesnt happen to guild wars 2,wouldnt want to be forced to quit the mmorpg genre altogether cuz its terrible community killed all the potential new mmorpgs
Guildwars 2 doesn't use the subscription model, and it's an original IP (no license fees to pay). That game could move a paltry number of copies, like 500k, and you would still see an expansion every three to six months.

I almost always disagree with you, but I have to admit that was actually pretty funny...

TORstatus has always been 100% correct.......... for what it shows.

It's just the conclusions from what it shows that you can never be sure about (till subs numbers come anyway).
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

Yes. Your account is still active till the moment your gametime expires. I have 111 days left on my account. I am one of those who chose to believe and bought a 9 month sub at release.

Dont worry, that 25% are all those whiny players that went play Tera and GW2, in a few months they will realise how ****** their games are and come back.
