/bump

The Fleet jetplane taking off bug was fixed for me but I'm still getting:

* Loud static (seems to only happen around Strong & greater difficulty NPCs)
* Sounds (including voice prompts) cutting out when grouped. Happens to me in any type of group (WZ's and FP/Ops).

It appears to be a widespread problem, multiple members of our guild Ops groups complain about it. Restarting the client fixes it until the next encounter. If everyone had to restart every time it happened we wouldn't get raids finished.

Using Onboard Via HD (Intel G31 chipset), latest drivers. This started happening after 1.2, utterly disgraceful that it's still happening now.

Sound issues also since 1.2

•Character Class: Trooper
•Character Advanced Class: Commando
•Primary activity at the time of the audio disappearing: It can be from normal combat to npc VO scenes. At first when you get into game, all sound works perfect, but eventually it starts to degrade. There isnt any sort of moment or specific moment this will start up.. it just starts when it tends to start for no apparent reason. Combat abilities tend to go lower sound quality and somewhat are "week" in tone. During VO cut scenes you may get a line with Vo but then suddenly youll see the npc's reply with his head moving but no sound, then it may go back to your characters responce and his head will move but no VO sound and.... again back to npc and then BAM suddenly you can hear him.. its all random and sometimes youll get full long VO scenes with no sound at all.

I will also add I play other games and there is no issue, drivers have been updated. I did a TOR repair thing also. Still sound goes out at random times, and the only fix "for me and possible others" is to close TOR fully down and log back in... pain in the butt if you ask me.

Greetings all,

Thank you for your continued patience on this matter.

As part of our continued investigation into this issue, I would like to ask anyone who experience's the sound issues to check their CPU priority (while the issues are occurring) via the task manager and report back here with the results.

Thank You.

How are we suppose to do this, without two monitors?
As soon as we tab out, SWTOR will reduce drastically in the task manager, giving false data.
And we is it so hard for you guys to find the problem?

Also a thing i have noticed: When i log in, and start on the fleet.
The background "people/noises" already there starts to cut out, fall out and cutter.

Ok, so it's the "we've no idea, let's buy more time by asking for arbitrary data" stage.

Priority Normal.

There you go. Have that along with the Dxdiag, /bug reports and evidence from dozens of others. I'm sure that'll crack it now.

They asked you for the priority, not usage stats. The process' priority won't change when you tab out.

That makes no sense, the priority is always default: Normal, unless people change it on their own.
So 100% of all customers has changed this value? Come on BW, get your act together....

Trooper Commando.
Voice audio stops after completing a few missions.
It comes back after a few but only for 1 or 2 parts of the conversation.
