It's kind of hard to have a "real MMORPG" when the basis of the game is instanced hallways that turns into the standard raiding end game at 50 with the caveat of no real effective LFG tool.

if its because it kills the community? what community? you jsut said you run 4 mans with your guild. If its because you dont want to run into a-holes and ninja looters? why does this bother you? you dont need the lfg tool you run 4 mans with your guild.

Why on earth are people so instant to keep something out of the game that does not negativly effect them and they do not have to use?? it just blows me away.
Am i suppose to answer all this?

ahh ok, so they are purposely trying not get alot of subs and make as much money as they can, ofcourse why didnt i think of that!

It sure is cool that EA has changed so much that they will spend the most money ever shelled out to make an mmo so they can make a small game that upholds the intergrity of mmos inspite of keeping them from making more money.

There are currently 123 servers, out of those somewhere between 60-80 have viable server populations. 60-80 viable servers =/= a dying mmo. If those bottom 43 or so servers are closed and the players moved, that further increases the viability of the top 60-80.

It isn't going to happen overnight. If you enjoy the game you are going to find a reason to keep playing until the problem is fixxed. If you don't like the game, then why keep playing/QQ'ing. Go find something else to play that makes you happier.

This ^^

I play casually in both WoW and SWTOR and I'm even giving TERA a shot, as I do with pretty much every major MMO that comes out.

I've gone from a hard core raider to a much more casual MMO player now. Cross server LFR/LFG/WZ tools let me experience the game when I have time. As a more casual player one thing I don't do is schedule my life around raids any more. If there are guildies on and they want to do a FP/OP when I happen to be on that is great, but I do want to see all of the content and these tools will help.

You only need to use them if you want to, no one is making anyone use them. I'm in guilds on both my Imperial and Republic toons, of course all of my Imperial guild players have quit and moved on and of the 200 people in my Republic guild there are seldom more than 4-5 on and I'm not even on one the "low-pop" servers.

I've loved the LFR/LFG and Battlegroup BGs in WoW and still use them. BGs take an average of 1-2 minutes to pop. Raids and Dungeons a bit longer depending on the time of day. The tool has let me experience all of the new content even on my reduced play schedule.

Not really true. If a tool like this is put in, the vast majority start to use it, making it even more impossible to get a non-X-server group. This WILL hurt those that don't want it.

Yes, it's time for people to adapt.
I want to play the game with hundreds of different players, afterall this is a mmorpg.

If you don't want Cross server, find a single player game.

HELL. NO.

If the game were to implement cross server lfg right now, that would be the straw that broke the camel's back, as it were, for me.
I dealt with it for a while in WoW because there were enough other features to rationalize the existence of such a thing.

If Bioware does a cross server lfg tool, what little community such an instanced game has will be gone. It will be a single player game with co-op mode.
