Keymod Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 I currently have a level 30 bounty hunter on a non RP world. How ever i love RP and regret not going on a world. Im thinking about dropping him and making a new toon on an RP world. Do you think this is a good idea? Or should i hold it out till a server merge. However, if you intend to engage heavily in RP, you might find that you enjoy your re-grind much more than you would on a non-RP server if you go through it with other players in-character. Of course, how open others are to RP depends on your server choice. If you're looking to jump into RP, you might want to look at joining an RP guild to help you get set up. You can start playing on an RP server, and when server transfers happen, you can bring your BH along. I encourage you to take the Ideal Guild Quiz and see if you find a RP guild that plays like you do. http://www.tortoolbox.com\quiz Also, if you're looking for a RP server, I recommend Sanctum of the Exalted. It's great because there's a good community of people that are focused on cooperating to make Sanctum a nice place to play. To wit: We have many guilds that fit a wide diversity of playstyles. Big and small, RP and no-RP, Imp and Rep (or both). The GLs are also in cahoots. We seek out other GLs and communicate about ways we can maintain our server. We have lots of volunteers who've done a lot of altruistic work to create fun events and resources for other players. They’re generally quiet, until someone starts RPing and then a lot of folks chime in. We have “enough” people that there’s always someone around. At peak hours, we range from 1,000 people on the server, and our Republic to Imperial ratio is very even.
