I assume if nowt is done in the next week, what is left of our player base will end their subs, as has been stated on the few guild still playing my server.
I think whats happening is that the Sorc's were brought inline which was over represented in numbers on the Imperial side and since they couldnt stun lock people to death in Zones they threw a fit and left.

Then there is Bans and the bans are gonna start making a ripple effect through the Imperials because they have been carrying that crutch for some time, and yes you know that good pre made that everyone feared? they most likely were using hacks.

I dont get ur point about sorc's, unless you think i ment inq, when I said Imp, meaning empire players.

Our server was dominated by over geared reps, soon as we imps gear up equally, they left for greener pastures, well other games.

Then we had 3 weeks of none stop imp ball, and two by two all the imp players also went their seperate ways.

Ok fair enougth i should of said Sorc/Inquis but that was the case acros 95% of the servers,it was posted with picks many times here where you had the whole team of those two,i saw it myself a few times a day in WZ's.

The only class that looks "mirrored" is the knight.

Here's a good example of the current situation. Good players that have left are being replaced by folks who believe in sorcs/sages being able to stunlock someone to death, in sages having no stuns whatsoever (as sorcs can have 2 at most and sages apparently have 2 less than that), and in tooth fairy. What kind of PvP can you expect with this kind of population?

The only time a player was every stun-locked to death by a sorc was when at least one of his buddies was hitting the same target (and it was usually an op). Also, the idea that the sorc has more stuns than the sage is really kind of funny.

I did the very same 3 days ago to see what it was like on a populated server. It's crazy to see the game with a lot of people actually playing. And, I did reroll Republic there since my 50 (and two other alts) on the other server are Imperial. There are plenty of people looking for groups too. If the LFG tool and PvP in 1.3 isn't cross-server (which I doubt will happen), then I think even more people are going to bail for more populated servers, thereby making the problem even worse on the Light servers.

I just looked and of the 125 US servers, 9 of them have "Standard" populations right now (middle of day of course). But either way, that means that a PvP que will only be reasonable for 7% of the servers. That's pretty bad. And we clearly don't need 125 servers.

But back to the topic; it's the server population and rerolls/alts that are resulting in the sudden shift in faction power on servers (plus the 1.2 PvP changes of course).

I'll be blunt - you are full of it and we both know it. A sorc/sage has 1 (that's ONE) on-demand 4s stun just like a lot of other classes have. In addition to that they can spec into a second 3s stun (which is really a mez as it breaks on damage) on bubble burst. They also have a normal 8s mez that also breaks on damage (instant cast if talented, interruptable otherwise). How are you going to create a "stunfest" with that?

I guess it's in part good people leaving, and in part the gear progression. I know before 1.2 I was basically always torn apart in warzones, and as soon as 1.2 hit and a few days later everyone had battlemaster (lawl) it was fairly even and tada.. a week later reps winning and winning and winning. I'm not even kidding. I did 8 warzones today. 5 wins. the three lost games were against other reps, and they were pretty much some of the best players our server has so it wasn't even that much of a surprise ;D
