same for people not taking wz queues. If you leave the queue that fine if you let it expire you get 30min

But, here's the kicker, I was still rewarded! No, not as much as if my team had won, but I had fun, and that's what I pay $15 a month for. Not for virtual medals. If your only enjoyment come from how many comms you get per day, then I pity you friend. Something's missing in your life.
I do play to have fun, but I do not have fun losing because four people couldn't hold a node (especially against fewer attackers, and that happens a LOT) for a few seconds while reinforcements ran over. I do not have fun losing because the 4+ people guarding the door getting hit hardest ignore the guy planting the bomb while I solo guard the other door against stealthers. I do not have fun losing when people let anyone, let alone 2 or 3 people, cap a turret in NC because they got tunnel vision on the distraction player(s). I don't mind losing close matches. I will not waste my time getting steamrolled because I can't be in two places at once and I can't count on half my team for anything at all.

That's ridiculous, especially on a low pop server. You're saying you'd have people sit for 30+ minutes at a time waiting on their queue to pop, and if they miss that 90s window, they have to wait another hour for another chance to play? I can't speak for others here, but when my queues slow down on Fatman I run to the bathroom or get a drink or let the dog out during my wait time. Anything at all could lead to you missing that window. This is especially bad for casuals on low pop servers that can only play for an hour or less a day. Their one chance at their one game of the day gone? Definitely not.

how exactly getting a desert debuff create you a trauma? everybody has priority and people usually handle prority with their consequence

it's a game you have to do important stuff go ahede it's not me stopping you but since my free time is limited as well could your privite life not disrupt my fun? is it asking too much since i may have kids too i may have job beeing busy too i just say when u play respect the other players as well.

so **** happen i agree it will happen to me too but i wont whine if i get a desert buff because real life happen i know i deserve it because i left my 7 commrate down i deserve it all and the "KIDS" excuse it's just that an excuse you left them you deserve a punishment

if you have kids you should know that choice, free choice come with resposnability attached

you leave you get desert debuff you cannot handle it... quit for what i care

a 15min lock out would be perfectly fine. there is no need for harsher penalties.

So go and enjoy your kids/live, not jump out every WZ you dislike at first seconds.

I think 10 minutes lock for leaving WZ is enough. Or even better idea: when you got you WZ, you assigned to it and can't get any other WZ except this particular one until it's over. So you can get back if you got d/c'ed or you have to wait equal time anyway.

This would help all honorable parents with kids, you can leave WZ, fix your kids, and get a change to get back to the same WZ.

How awesome it that!?
Toyz, the Fatman. (Oh yeah, Toyz is the legacy and Fatman is the realm.)

all i am seeing here is people can't handle losing.

they want the same rewards as the people that just beat them. that is not how anything is life works. why do you not get that? people need to face the fact that you lost why should you get the same thing as the winners. when a team wins a championship dose the losing team get the same trophy or do they get to call themselves champions too. I DONT THINK SO that is not how things work never have never will.

a 15min debuff for qutting would be in place to stop the loss dodgers in warzones. there are too many people that quit and reque till they are in a group that they feel will get them a win.

what you dont understand is the effect quitting has on others in the game.....

first you screw over the people that are in the warzone. basically causing a loss most of the time.

second you screw other people that are queing. most people would rather start a warzone not have to clean up a quitters mess.

i am sick of queing into a warzone witch people have quit. it takes forever to load into a warzone in progress. sometimes by time i load in i get kicked out cause the deserter time runs out. so you just wasted 5 to 7min of my time and i was not even part of the warzone to begin with.

as for the parents out there a 15min debuff should not bother you one damn bit for leaving to take care of issues in house. most cases by time you get done doing what you need and sit back down the time will be up. no where dose this game state that you get special treatment if you have kids. if this is a problem for you parents then play a game with a damn PAUSE BUTTON on xbox or something that other people are not counting on you to do your damn part.

anyone who can't see why a debuff for quitting needs to be in place then well you are just a selfish spoiled *****.

OP needs to realize that BW is a corporation which needs to make as much money as possible.

The problem is not the lack of deserter buff. A buff might make me think twice, but I would still leave, if the my next 10 minutes will be one giant wiping of me behind.

I play for fun, not to be a good opponent. When it ain't fun in anyway, I leave.
I never left a WZ before 1.2 (except for IRL urgencies.)

But, you can be pleased that most leavers will be gone from SWTOR soon. I guess, though it may seem like a rough number, that SWTOR will lose about 1/3 of it's subs in the coming month. The "30 days free" people who haven't resubbed, will be gone, and there is a lot of those people, including myself. I have not seen anything remotely close to make me want to change my mind, especially in the pvp area, which is a disgrace to MMO PvP in general.

BW just made an interview stating they have not lost subs, but only logins. Ofcourse they have not lost subs, when they just gave just about everyone a free month, this is not mentioned in the interview though.

also i have friends that have kids too. each one of them have played MMOs and not one of them play anymore cause of thier kids. they understand that a MMO and kids don't mix. so they play games on xbox or other consoles where there is a pause button. that is called being a responible parent and understanding that games like MMOs are not for them anymore.

now when the kids get to be the age where they are old enough. then each of them have said they would look into playing MMOs again.

I lol'd Queue times have gotten progressively worse on my server, and it's considered standard to higher population depending on when you play. Add in the fact you get about one deserter every match or so, sometimes more...yeah, we definitely don't need any punishments for people repeatidly ditching warzones
