You guys are going about this the wrong way. What they need is incentives to stay. MMO players follow incentives - always have & always will. 15 min lockout - no prob. That's a bio break, grab a bev/food, let the dog out, & a couple loading screens worth of time. anything beyond 15 minutes is wishful thinking on your part. BW does not want to punish people for playing the game, even if they are quiters.

But...the reason we can't get incentives to stay is b/c of all the ppl who QQ about winners should receive all the rewards & losers should get squat. If you stepped back a moment & tried to figure out what was best for the community & not just yourself (meaning those people I just mentioned), you'd see that pvp is supposed to be about fun, not who gets the most tokens.

society is based on the survival of our species, i.e. kids... someone should have not catered to you so i wouldnt have had to read this narrow minded post.

people leave warzones, drivers crash, life happens... get over yourself

Rated Warzones will take care of everything.

Those who quit/dc from rated warzones more often will accumulate negative ratings faster and see their rated score plummet faster than those that stick it out and lose.

Like in Starcraft 2, bronzies will be matched with bronzies, and masters with masters.

/end of argument (now go queue a warzone ! )

I've seen this in WoW, Rift and other games, they have internal data that helps them decide when to install deserter debuffs and the decision is based on overall wait times.

It must be that right now if they have it wait times would be so high it would yield a negative aggregate gaming experience wise.

Or allowing you to pick the WZ(s) you want to play. The only time I quit is when I zone into Hutt Ball. But I quit before the match starts so that someone else can get in to fill my spot without hurting the team.

punish 7 vs punish 1

7 that actually didnt do anything wrong

1 that probably have no clue how to set up internet properly

let's punish the 7
how exactly is prioritising family over the kill count of some idiot in a video game doing something wrong?

how does it make any difference to the 7 if the leaver gets punished ( if they crashed or quit)

i guess people like to see a person kicked when there down?

What ever happened to playing the game to have fun? The whole point (which apparently flew right over the top of your head) of my "cool story" as you so quaintly put it, is that I didn't quit, and I had fun, regardless of the reward. But, here's the kicker, I was still rewarded! No, not as much as if my team had won, but I had fun, and that's what I pay $15 a month for. Not for virtual medals. If your only enjoyment come from how many comms you get per day, then I pity you friend. Something's missing in your life.

Let me translate your post. " I am one of those horrible parents who takes babies to the theater, sits in the bar with my ten kids, expects everyone to cater to my little angles." What happened to the days when kids should be seen and not heard. I hope you come to know trisomi-21 one of your future kids, that i have to pay for.
