Analogy, look it up.

Ok which of the following do we not agree with?

Winners should get considerably more than losers
People should be discouraged from quitting
Losers should have the ability to earn rewards despite losing

The first and last are in place, the second needs implementing.

You won't have to worry about quitting Warzones when nobody's playing in them anymore. If the current 1.2 ruleset remains in place, that's what it's going to be. Just you and the same handful of people that you're always going to see.

No new blood.

No new competition.

What makes you think that stuffing even MORE penalties to the non-rewarding nature of current 1.2 PVP will see improvement in participation?

First off... I wish people would stop complaining about the PVP in this game. Doesn't anyone realize that the game has only been out for about 5 months? There isn't one game out there that was perfect when it first came out. Now if this game was out for a year and more and people were complaining, then I can understand. Stop complaining... BW is very much aware of it's short comings and have already said time and time again, they are working on it to the best of their ability. If you don't like it, quit. I'd rather have positive people around me that like to have fun anyway.

Second, about the debuff... I support it. WoW had it and no one complained. The ones that are against are probably the ones that keep jumping ship because they are losing. This game isn't about one person, it's about the whole. If you are a decent player, you'll stay throughout the whole warzone, because you know that if you leave, you are screwing up the possibility of a win. I've been in plenty games where we started off losing but we didn't quit and ended up winning. It's more of a satisfaction when you work to achieve rather than it being handed to you.

Sorry but if you can't stay connected to the game you are just as bad as the quiters.
Sorry but some people have lives/kids whatever the case real life comes first.

Bad Idea.

A better idea would be to lock out their quit button for the entirety of their next PVP session (make them stay in unless they quit the game altogether).

I don't see a big deal about people quitting WZ's personally. But hey, I'm not the OP.

As a father of 4, I completely agree... but why do we need to suffer because other parents pick bad times to play. I've had to leave a warzone before because of my kids and if there was a debuff, then whatever... won't stop my playing.

This will just lead to people quitting altogether.
/agree I get at least 4-5 9000 errors a day in PvP......not my fault.

I was wondering how long it would take for a rational, responsible parent like this would post. Bottom line is, for whatever reason, you left. Call me a jerk, but nobody in your WZ cares why. You might have good reasons for leaving, but you should accpet the conseqences for your actions.

There needs to be some kind punishment for abondoning the WZ (for any reason) although I think the OPs suggestions are a little harsh.

Oops, made a new post cause I was too lazy to see what page this thread was buried under.

I agree with the premise. I disagree with the harshness of the penalty. 15 minutes would be okay. 10 minutes even would be okay. I just want the fastest way to get into a better warzone group is to stick with your game and not to ragequit cause your team is losing. If I play in a warzone and someone ragequits, I should not get dropped into the next game they ragequit after my warzone is over.

Should there be a penalty? Absolutely. Should it be so harsh as to ban people from the game? Not at all.

Ye I like the sith way to, but making PvP more fun is the real solution I mean it's a game after all not real life military. Rated WZ and separation of PUG from premade are the real solution, you can't force peeps fighting.
