Well its a start, so keeping you at range is pretty much fail....
You do realize that you can only be cc'd two maybe three times by most classes before your resolve bar is full right? Do you think most marauders allow themselves to be "kited" away from objectives(did I already tell you how kiting is pointless unless you are a zerging chimp). LOL I'll admit I was wrong about the friendly, but my point is that there are some ranged options at your disposal and they deal pimp-azz damage.... You need to admit that there is a problem with the DCD of your AC...

Another person not reading anything at all. I would rather have my pt than a marauder anyday. I am just stating that a marauder complainig that he needs all his defensive cooldowns has no concept of any class. A PT does the same damage without the defensive cooldowns.

Personally, I love my PT, and find Grapple to be way better than any force leap. Personal preferences have no bearing in a man's attempted defense of the tank cooldowns compared with damage output. But thanks for not bothering to read farther than you can swing your saber.

My evade is 3 seconds....shield probe is about the same and I take less damage in cover....Troopers have heave armor and some stuns....and a shield as well.

My Powertech is my main. And if a Powertech can't beat a Marauder, he got outplayed or out cooldown'd.

And if anyone complains about not having cooldowns against a Marauder, what do you think happens to a Marauder with no cooldowns?

Honestly, I HOPE they nerf Undying Rage/Guarded by the Force just so people can shut up while I still pound their face in the dirt. But they won't. I'll outplay people and they'll come here and say damage is out of whack, or charge needs to be nerfed, or rage generation needs to be nerfed. They'll find something to cry about.

Since when? any spec of bh loses to sentinel, in my experience anyway.

Playing against bads doesn't make marauder over powered.

You think running after ranged is something a good melee player does? No we do the smart thing and LOS to help bridge the gap. So c'mon

As a former ranged player YOU CAN, I REPEAT YOU CAN, do damage to someone and take absolutely 0 damage. Your defense is in your ability to stay at ranged you just need to be smart about it.

You mean, troopers have a stun that automatically fills the resolve bar, and a shield that block 25% damage which does nothing in the grand scheme of things.

I would take my smugglers 3 seconds of invincibility dodge and his shield any day over a trooopers crap shield and heavy armor with no chance to block lol

I don't lose to Marauder/Sentinel. Then again, I play one, so I know exactly how to beat them. /shrug

Then again, I didn't lost to Mara/Sents before I played one.

My Marauder(40) is just an alt I play now an then, but I have 3 other 50s (operative healer, sith healer, jedi healer and a 46 merc) and thus I run into them @50 and before more then enough.

I must say, to be honest... It's mostly people complaining about not knowing when to use their own CC's and interrupts. Also goes for Undying rage... even more so. I also isn't up all the time. Hey I also screw this up now and then... and then they rip off my arm and beat me with it. My own fault or an external thing that screws it up. (stop breaking my mez!) .. or I just needed my CC breaker, stun before I got jumped. (see below :P )

Sorry, but marauders/sents aren't that special... and about that doing that much dmg... Gosh an AC that has 3 trees .. and they get to choose between dmg, dmg & hold on, dmg! Not to long ago they didn't really had a choice what tree to pick.

Marauders/Sents hurt stuff, of course it's the only thing they can do. Also water is wet. More news at 11!

Sorry guys & galls, really now, go back complaining about operatives again, you already got BW to castrate that class into oblivion ... just because you wasted your CC breaker / Stun / CC / Interrupt --just when you shouldn't of.

But after all, 10 secs before you got jumped ... you really wanted that other kill ... right?
