Winnar!! This could save both the players and the devs a lot of headache and time.

I miss my appearance tab

Actually I was referring to letting us vote on armor, similar to how SWG allowed us to vote on paintings...would be nice to deco my stuff though.

Different people like different things, those who like the over the top sets will complain, not the people who complained about it being over the top. Can't please all of the people all of the time.
Welcome to PvP, where it's socially acceptable for 40 year old geeks to beat up 12 year old boys.

if you schematics to craft all types of gear with augments slots and dont loose stats from armor set bonus if you move the mods or appearance tab people will not complain anymore...

Why make us wait for new armor half of us aren't going to like anyway or aug slot additions. You're still wasting time and money on something that will always waste more time and more money when you design future pieces. Add appearance slots and let us equip any of the armor pieces we like that you already spent time creating without effecting future equipment stats or design/creation times.
If I may: while I'm a great fan of an appearance tab for the simplicity to use them (vs the poor mods UI) and for the more choices it offers to the players, the mods system is a great way to keep players looking for better mods or combinations of mods.

Now that being said, the mod system is great only if used as a topping of an appearance tab system. Because having the A-Tab won't, once again, prevent players from grinding new mods or different gear.

It's a bit the same for the Unify color feature. It's not as good as a full gear dye system but as a topping of a dye system it would really shine.

As the son of two art majors I understand the difficulty. Art is as much an expression of culture, and what appeals to one will not necessarily appeal to all. That being said, there are some things that would make this much easier using the existing models.

FIRST: We need the quests that give armor for companions to GIVE the armor for the companions. The others should be options, but we shouldn't be choosing which companion to neglect and then have to talk people out of drops during flash points in order to get our companions up to standard.

SECOND: A lot of the extraneous stuff should be avoidable.
  • Capes are not needed on every upper level armor - or should be something you can turn off.
  • Hoods NEED to be raise-able and lower-able, for RP purposes if nothing else.
  • Allow us to have schematics, or make modifiable gear of our low level sets.
  • Elegance - I have seen very little in the way of elegant gear for female characters.

(Queen Amidala's throne room regalia does not count as elegant. It counts as ritual and alien, but not as elegant.)
Peace is not a singular event, and still you only speak of it in the singular.
Until you start looking for the peaces you will never understand how to work the puzzle.

They are trying for a futuristic look and I think they have succeeded. This in no way means I like it! Even some parts of today's fashion is completely beyond me. Yes, I would prefer some good looking gear for my multiple characters, not all the gear I find is to my liking. But, the game is still young, give them time.
agreed, it is good they try to change the armor models, some of the current ones are not even futuristic they are horrible plain and simple look at the imperial agent one.. lol no idea why he have to have all that none sense pockets and stuffs all around him, hes not a dam commando he should looks stealthy not like hes carry his whole house in all that pockets and back stuffs,
but yeah nice to know they are working on it.. some time soon.

oh and btw about your last line, not sure if you realise but.. Time is exactly what this game dont have now.
with all new games launching or being release in a very few months, what this game dont have now its time.
they need to do something outstanding, and do it now, or die *some time soon in the near future*

the sad thing is: they have good designs at wallpapers, forum avatar icons and special at trailers.
look that bountyhunter girl at Deceive trailer, the commando on Return, etc.
you look at Darth Malgus at trailers and you go: NICE I will roll a bad a.s.s. Sith like this. then you start play at end content and you feel like a clown from WoW.

1 Hood Toggle, I really can't believe they thought it would be acceptable to not have a single robe for Jedi Knight with the hood down. And they have the nerve to keep showing pictures and screenshots of armors allready in the game but with a hood down, which looks so much better. When this is implemented, I expect it to be good, not just a complete removal of the hood, but a swap between the hood down model and the hood up. Even NPCs all over the class story or mostly everywhere taunts all JK players with great hood down robes.

2 Give the legacy armor sets a unique model like raiding and PvP gear, this will reward the altoholics greatly. Just tired of PvP players and raiders getting all the unique looking gear. Legacy armors now are just retextures of armors allready in the game.

What bothers me is that most of the official screenshots and trailers contain Jedi Knights wearing robes and armors with the hood down. And they still continue to throw screenshots and such at us, taunting us on how much better it looks.
The Dark Side of the Force is the pathway to many abilities some consider to be… Unnatural.
