Almost everyone should be able to find at least one model set in game they like, but It shouldn't cost a ton of credits to change the look of their gear to it like it does currently.
I don't think it should cost anything to change your looks. That is one of the worst parts of this game. Find a new piece of orange armor you like and it ends up costing an arm and a leg to respec it.

I'm fine with paying something. But not a massively inflated price.

Let's assume I want to change the 5 major bits of my gear.

3 slots per piece.

45000 credits to remove a campaign level mod.

15*45,000 = 675,000 credits.

That's an insane amount of credits unless you're running every possible daily quest every day. Even then, you're still looking at 3-4 days to change over everything.
Oh, great . you live on in our hearts!

Bingo.

You want to make a cost, then make it reasonable. Its currently astronomical. Sorry I don't want my consular to look like a mummer.
Meanwhile, in Tera general chat -

"The sad thing is, arguing with fanbois on the forums was more entertaining than their 300 million dollar single player MMO from 2008"

To those asking BW to show us (the players) what they intend to implement and let us vote...

WORST IDEA EVER

First of all, give us four or five choices and I guarantee the votes will be all but even. So someone who really likes chest X that gets 25% of the vote loses to chest Y, which the person hates, because chest Y gets 25.2% of the vote. How is that good for the game?

Second, ALL "market research" is inherently flawed. Why? Because consumers do not know what they REALLY want. Further in market research consumers are usually given limited choices and forced to choose which one they like the best. The "best" in a limited choice survey is the offensive of the choices.

Lastly, of all the threads on all the forums regarding "fashion" in MMOs, more than likely it is the same miniscule percentage of the players who even care. You are all obviously very vocal because BW has heard you, that does not mean you are right.

I'd be giddy as a schoolgirl if they instituted a system similar to DCUO (equip a gear once and you can use that look whenever, for free, in any of a bunch of colors)

I'd be happy with a CoH style (one vendor that changes your look, at a cost that increases with every change)

I'd settle for a WoW Transmog style (make any one bit of gear look like any same-type gear, at a fixed cost per slot)

Oh you bet they've heard you.

They're hard at work trying to figure how they can take our feedback and come up with something that completely misses the point and can only be achieved in the most grindiest and obtuse manner possible.
Outnumbered on all sides. Inferior version of "mirrored" abilities. Republic players are the real underdogs playing the game on hard mode. Show pride in your tenacity.

Bingo,

This dev team wins the award for the biggest "half-azz" implementation model.

Missing the mark with the player base is their forte.

The LAST thing I would want is this forum community voting on which armor sets get put in the game.

I vote for chainmail bikinis !
"bibo ergo sum" ( I drink, therefore I am)

Teamwork is essential; it gives the enemy other people to shoot at.

Winner!

Or just more stretchy tight pants options, the one thing bioware does great are female butts!

They should be celebrated, not hidden.
