Because it takes time to make proper decisions. They tried a moderate fix, they didn't like the result. They now applied a heavier hand.

This is how stuff gets done!

My only problem with this is that if forces to take your death even if the encounter bugs out. I suppose we can still jump into the pit on Soa, but if North finishes their pylons first, I don't know what we'll do.
...they'd never come to see me in this dive, where bikers stare at cowboys, who are laughing at the hippies, who are praying they'll get out of here alive...

Perhaps communicate with each other to make sure that it doesn't happen to begin with?

Oh BW .... Silly BW ...
I've leveled a Guardian and a Sentinel to 50, and there are no quests on Tatooine for them that would be "very hard" period... let alone needing an "exit area" type deal to keep re-trying it .

He might have ment Sith Warrior. Final class mission on Tat knocks out your compainon, than has you fight 2 Jedi in a row. The tactic was to beat the first Jedi, then run out, heal, go back in and deal with the second.

Ah yes, that hideously hard quest where you have to... *gasp* BEAT TWO STRONGS WITHOUT A COMPANION... one of which starts combat by going into a five-minute self-stun that doesn't break unless you attack him.

Sounds like you'd still be able to do that, since it's only referring to the "exit area" button.

Can't go through instance doors while in combat, and *that's* been in since launch.

Ive used the exit area thing before but its just sad seeing all the whining about it here. Seriously? You DIDNT know that was somewhat of a legal exploit? Really?

I have no idea when or how, but somewhere along the line, way too many kids grew up expecting to be handed a win. As if losing, fighting your way back and trying again until you finally win isnt what video games are about. I blame the "give my loser kid a trophy too" parents. You lost! You werent up to the challenge. Yes, in that case, you were the a loser. In SWTOR that means death. Buck up, take the consequences and try again.
