Outrageous! They should put this back in immediately.

And they should extend it! Whenever a fight is going badly for me, there should be a button I could press that ends the battle immediately, and sends me to a safe place so I don't have to repair.

Oh, and can we have this in PvP too? Next time my team is down 4-0 in Huttball, I'd love to be able to just press a button to restart the match.

If it was never intended to be used that way, why did they take the time to change it to cancel when hit and not just remove it like they did this time?

Unfortunately I'm not a developer, so I can't answer that question. I would agree that it should have been an out of combat only tool at onset, but I'm not a developer.

Yo. Droid companions need an operations vendor, too. My extra coms have to go somewhere, and I'd prefer SCORPIO to Kaliyo.
