What i like about SWTOR!!! (A non-Hatefull Thread)

Maybe the Trooper and Smuggler quest lines are just bad (completed Trooper's, almost done with Smuggler), but I disagree with your characterization of quest choices being meaningful and having consequences, especially anything that is not class quests. Let some guy in Hoth quest XYZ live or murder him? Doesn't matter, you'll just get a personalized mail from either choice and then never hear about it again.

In my class quests, I had only a handful of people I could chose to let live or die and as far as I can tell, it did not impact much at all. Again, I think the Trooper quests might have just sucked a lot, what class were you playing? I may want to roll up a character of this class. (Possible side rant: make the Trooper story better Bioware! Combat and story felt like I was a pre-WWII grunt. Seriously, where was the air support, the tanks? I never got on a mounted gun once...I certainly did not feel like an epic trooper. Havoc Squad is supposed to be soo amazing, yet I would not characterize it that way at all. Average more like it.)

GTFOut of here. This game is is well polished and by far the best launch in MMO history. There are issues that you can disagree with or changes you would like to see but don't throw a tantrum over the forums and ruin someone elses happiness. I changed my sub to 6the months this month and a lot of my friends did the same thing. I hate to burst your bubble friend but what ever MMO you advocate for is dead or sying slowly or before it started. SWTOR is the new knock out king get used to it because the bar has been raised.

I often find the middle ground to be a best approach. Die hard adherence to either extreme is foolish in almost any situation, IMO. The game has good features and certainly lots of potential. I want it to really go places, honestly I do. That said, you cannot ignore the many flaws it has, both compared to other MMOs and just general problems. If you like the game so much, I would encourage you and other like you to get on Bioware's case about improving the game. Otherwise, if we accept an average game, that is what we will get.

My god man, its been four solid months and they have responded quite well with many new add ons and features. They have responded to game breaking issues and fixed them in atimely manner. Stop complaining so dang much and get some patients and if you can't seel to be entertained with this game than I don't know game will.

Rofl that is the funnyest thing ive read in a while, one rift had a better launch than swotor, 2nd the knock out king, yes u are right they are getting knocked out, i hate to burst your delusional bubble, but if u think this game is growing u need to stop smokeing what ever it is you are on.

As far as the bar being raised, was the bar raised in pvp, nope there going backwards, remember when they said they had the best pvp devs in the industry and how ilum would blow us away? Ilum is dead and on many servers pvp warzones are completely dead. The bar has been raised, i cant stop laffing at that rofl.......

What is funny to me is you haters on these forums. I can truely see that you are a sad hateful person. Oh and I played RIFT at launch and it wasn't polished and they had many issues if not more than average so dont go there.

The game is a lot of fun.

I like the stories, the character choices, fthe variety, the weapons etc. I leveled my bounty hunter to 50 with barely any grouping. I'm working a jedi knight now and I'm going a lot slower to smell the roses and have done a few heroics already. No problems finding a group on my server, Pleasure Barge. Might join a guild.

I'm really looking forward to the LFG feature. I think this will really make things a lot more fun and less running/speeding around.

I also think BW does a good job with the emails and newsletters. I liked the latest world event, I'm sure they will have more. I think they do a pretty good job with support. I don't get the bad vibe so many people report. I think the economy and GTN need some work but perhaps that will clear up with time.

Overall, it's more fun than WoW. World isn't as bit but hopefully it will be.

Last time i checked they dont even have a working char copy to ptr to test there crappy patches, u cant even choose what warzone u can go into, ya this game is so ahead of the pack. This game has had some of the worst bugs i have ever seen, remember the warzone not counting bug, how many months did we have put up with that, i could go on and on, and i dont hate this game, but when i see someone like u spouting off on how this game is the new knockout of all games, sorry got to put u in your place, with a reality check.

This is stupid. You are still obviously here, probably playing your *** off. I'm a huge star wars fan, I love this game. I clearly dont see how its an abomination.
