When posting something like this, treating it like facts, I think it's only fair to leave some space for references and sources at the bottom. Can you edit that in, thanks.

There is no Mythic in this game.

Nice try though. Now put the box of tinfoil back on the shelf please.
Not true at all. Many artists and coders went from Mythic to Bioware. A writer from Mythic is the lead PvP designer for SW:TOR. Jeff Hickman, producer for Warhammer Online, is the Exec Prod of Live Services for Bioware. Many people from Mythic were absorbed into EA and have their hands in this game.

Does any of this matter? Well, Warhammer was and is a horribly designed and haphazardly managed game. So maybe.

Since Dragon Age 2 everyone should know that BioWare is not operating anymore.
It's just a brand owned by EA they "abusing" for earning money.

I loved DAoC until they brought in the RAs and new frountiers and TOA. Other then my first MMO (NWN on AOL 1991) it was by far the most fun Ive ever had in a MMORPG.

SWTOR has its good points but over all

Yeah DAoC was more fun then SWTOR

As for Warhammer, Im glad I skipped it (just got passed around to much for me to try it) as I hear they went all RVR and cheaped out on the PVE. Clearly Mythic didnt understand then or now what made DAoC so much fun for everyone.

As for OP, yeah I refer to them as EAoware now.
And fan thats been following Bioware since the early days know that company stopped functioning with the release of ME2. Just took till now for all the main parts (like Drew K) to move on as well. Bioware is just now a memory of a much better time and place for RPGs.
In regards to lessening F2P and Preferred restrictions
In GAMING, as in LIFE,
You get what you pay for
No game restriction is so dire that $15.00/month will not eliminate it

Just gonna snag this one little part of your post, Kalfear, because it's related to a common idea I've seen a lot- the idea that Mythic had no idea what they were doing with Warhammer.

The thing is that this statement is kind of true, but not exactly the way a lot of people think. It's partly due to Mythic being basically told by EA to not use any of their DAoC experience to make Warhammer. Why would you tell a game company to ignore their previous successes (and failures)? That's a recipe for disaster. Heck, in the beginning, they weren't allowed to have keeps because 'that was DAoC's style', but fan/beta tester uproar over this eventually made them back down. Mythic had to start all over to make a game that was as not like DAoC as possible.

Warhammer was pretty damn crippled by the 'nothing like DAoC stance'. Mythic was basically having to work with a handicap penalty.

I don't mean this to absolve Mythic of all blame, if it sounds like that. I'm just still aggravated at Mythic and EA over this,.... but EA keeps ticking me off over other things, too. Meh.

On the OP's stance that this game isn't BW's quality: Heh. BioWare hasn't had a 'BioWare quality' game for me since Dragon Age: Origins. Mass Effect 2 was close, but it's been a downhill slide since then.

You points are valid, as soon as EA bought bioware, the gems that where produced were lesser of what they were

Baulders gate 1 & 2
Jade Empire
KOTOR
Mass Effect 1
Dragon age

Mass effect 2 marks the first EA bio ware game which i think was better then the first

(DA was already made and EA had little to do with that game)
DA 2 was ok but a shadow of its original

TOR was shopped around before it was made, several articles have stated this game could have been a game of thrones MMO

The question I have is why Bioware a developer who's name is based on story and RPG's is developing Command and Conquer a strategy game which they have no experience at all of making

Anyone who played Mythic games knows that it was not the designers and code writers that put the taint on the brand. It was the management team and their direct reporting middle management. They are gone, and never touched SWTOR.

Mass Effec 3 was pretty good, IMO

What really worries me is ''Generals 2''. Command and Conquer was never know for it's intricate storytelling, but Generals was really....
