Should A game Like SWTOR Come to Xbox360

Ridiculous thread, there is no way in a hundred years that they could get this game to run on an xbox 360. The resolution is too low, the hardware is far too weak, the controls wouldn't work, the loading times would be horrific. I doubt even WoW would run properly on xbox and this game doesn't run great even on state-of-the-art systems.

No, just no.....

PS3, yes, it could work. It has that open-mindedness. It has Keybo & mouse support. Only thing is that icons would totally be weird on a TV. Just doesn't translate well. Hence, is why we are getting DUST514(a shooter) on the PS3 instead of EVE Online on the PS3. PS3 already has huge load times with games already and SWTOR already has atrocious load times for planets.
I have 0 issues like such running my PC on a 32" flat panel. Dual screen 32" flat panels if needed as well.

Conroller issues aside (they would make the game work with whatever controller they sought fit to r&d)
I wonder if the next generation console could handle this game

Witcher 2 on x-box shows that ports are still possible

witcher 2 runs at a higher resolution the TOR and they ported it to 360, and last time i checked that game had a higher standard of graphics then TOR, so why couldn't TOR be ported?

I would buy this in a heartbeat as long as it was released for PS3. I don't like playing games on the PC.

To the OP; As my Jugg likes to say, "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard".
I love people that think they know everything - and are so completely wrong.

They would do the same thing they do with DC Universe on the PS3: Create a small file you download; then (like the patcher) it would download the game. TOR only takes up 20 gig; Xbox usually has 250gig hard drives. It would have no problem operating on the Xbox 360.

Since the xbox 360 usually runs at 720p for games; the graphics files would be even smaller. Look at a game like GTA IV; the XBox version - and the PC version (running on normal) are almost identical.

It might run at a higher resolution on the PC but it definitely won't on the xbox. Most of the games run on lame resolutions like 1024x600,(I know the cawadooty ones do) also keep in mind most xbox games have textures on low, draw distance low and 2xAA tops.

Like I said before SWTOR runs bad on PCs that have more than 3x the processing, graphical, memory and storage capabilities than the xbox360. There is literally no way in hell this game could ever run well on an xbox. You cannot compare single player games to massively multiplayer ones.

Then just release it as a single-player game on PS3, please. I'd go buy it right now.
