Tell Me what you think?

Hasn't any game that allowed PC Gamers to play with Console Gamers ended up having to have separate servers for both?

(because mouse and keyboard is just plain better and it soon becomes obvious that people are winning for that reason)
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

Xbox 360 hardware is old by computer standards, I doubt they could make it work.... Funcom tried to get AOC to work on the Xbox 360 and had the same issue with its aging hardware and that was years ago...

Good example of this is the recent Battlefield game, looked awesome on the PC, looked terrible on the consoles..... Now maybe the Xbox 720 would have no issues as it would get a hardware update but your dreaming if you think the Xbox 360 has the muscles...

Oh! I would still wonder though how the performance would be with something like this game though that would require a more higher end set up particularly on the somewhat dated consoles.

My reasons why I believe this should not and cannot be done.

1: MMOs belong on PCs and not consoles
2: The current generation of consoles are too outdated GPU, RAM and CPU wise.
3: Even if they could on the next generation consoles next year.... it would "feel" wrong to play an MMO on it
4: 2 years after the release of next gen consoles, they would again be out of date compared to a PC and modern MMOs wouldnt play on them.
5: I don't like using my chatpad on my controller, it's horrid
6: I don't want my controller to have 100 buttons
7: I use my laptop for MMO gaming to socialise with a community and lvl up with my partner
8: I use my xbox for blowing the crap out of things with a game you play and complete within 1-2 weeks
9: I dont want to mix 7 & 8

I have 32 abilities bound to my xbox 360 controller , thanks for the late good luck message.

I allready started one of these threads months ago , but it was about the ps3 , swtor was originally penned in for the ps3 a long time ago. So yeah 32 abilities says it can be on console , in fact I use my pc plugged into my tv as a huge console.

I only ever played mmorpg's on consoles before swtor and we are deffinately not casual gammers , my 14 hours a day gaming proves that. In fact I played console mmo's more than I play swtor.

Cheers,

I know you don't need it but everyone would want Death from Above.

The game already has very long loading screens. If you install onto the cloud or even a network drive, it would be a lot slower. And that's just loading screens, if you didn't have enough of the game on the xbox360, you could also kill performance. THen again, the xbox 360 barely meets the minimum specs for this game if it does at all. Adding more network activity will kill performance for sure.

Yes, thats why i previously stated this would only work with something like the soon to come xbox 720. But it also depends on the type of tech behind the cloud servers. it could possibly give faster loading times as the cloud server could pre load everything and have better tech then your pc does.

The only thing then is latency.
