Grass is always greener at the next game for these never be pleased pvp crowd.
i guess the day developers relize that treating there pvpers like 2nd class citizens doesnt really encourge them to stick with the mmo there playing.maybe the pvp crowd will be pleased and stick with the mmo there on

that was so fun. lasted like 8-10 minutes. just being able to switch to fire attunement and create these fire walls or this speed burst fire trail like the flash, then switch over to water and unleash ice meteors. awesomeness.

that was some serious fun carnage!
/yawn.

Sounds like Wintergrasp to me. No wait, it sounds like the old days of Alterac Valley. No wait, sounds like the older days of Southshore.

Yeah, ok.
Iv'e been in beta since beta started..that is where my opinions come from. GW2 brings absolutely nothing new or innovative to the table it's Facebook help the farmers quests and beyond lame writing will not keep gamers interested long. You can also tell by the overall lack of polish (like five copies of the exact same NPC standing in one place) that NCsoft told Anet enough money release it now.
No one hates Star Wars as much as "Star Wars fans"

LOL you want voice acting? watch a carton or pixar film. The voice acting in swtor is buggy slow and boring as hell when you have to listen/spacebar through it EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU RUN THE SAME BORING GRINDFEST FLASHPOINTS over and over and over,
GW2 is by far BY FAR better than swtor will ever be and its still in beta,
If you dont believe me, try the WvWvW pvp in GW2. Will be the most fun you ever had in an mmo.

or at least thats what all the ex daoc's say.which is the big thing that ive heard hyped up for gw2.its pvp is suppose to be on the same level as daoc

in all honesty though.if i can pvp at lvl 1 in gw2,and have it be like im pvping at max level, which from what ive read.you can do,then ill probably end up playing both anyway.i mean,i have no life its not like i dont have the time lol
The DAoC community uses "postcount.net" as their home forums, if you want current and former DAoC players opinions on GW2 Beta weekend, look at that forum. Some positive reviews, some negative, but all in all it was recieved well by all the DaoC players I know, which is alot-x

Its really ashame because SWtoR was probably the 1 game that...if it did have awesome Open World RvR and some decent 8vs8, the vast majority of DAoC'rs would perfer it over GW2, but BioWare has pushed us into GW2 by not having ANY World RvR at all.

eather way,ive heard alot of hype when it comes to gw2.im just waiting to see if it lives up to it,cuz im not wasting my time playing another overhyped average mmo
Define world PvP. Or rather what makes you want to do world PvP.

The thing is the WvW maps are so big (and there´s 4 of em) that they might just offer what many PvP´ers look for when they want world PvP. By that I mean, being able to roam a wide area and not being restricted by an arena or small´ish PvP zone. + there are 3 sides to spice things up.

Ofc if the primary motivation is ganking, killing lowbies/questing people and the likes, then no, GW2 doesn´t feature that.

It wasnt their goal to bring anything new to the subpar MMO genre of recent years, their goal was to bring back the glory days of 2002-2005 DAoC World RvR, 3 sides duking it out in huge battles.......and tbh thats all the revolution they needed to introduce to get a very high % of MMO PvP'rs to buy the game
