My server is very empty and most of the times I do dailies there are max 8 players on Ilum, but usually there are around 2 or sometimes I'm totally alone on the planet. Black hole sector is almost the same, almost impossible to find a group for h4 unless you are in guild. As I saw we have 3 big republic guilds on server. And that is it. Without guild on my server you can't play after you ding 50. Nothing to do, and even I'm in guild I find myself doing dailies alone. I have already respecced my commando trooper to combat medic and with tank companion I can solo all h2 dailies. It's at least something I can do, but BW should think about that. On same server empire side have much more players.

It doesn't matter which is it, the effects are the same (well except to EAs bank balance).

Although I'll eat my hat if there's still as many US and EU subs as there were 3 months ago now (not counting free trials).
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

Really simpel. BioWare is to arrogant and proud to merge servers. They will bring out char transfear in in future just before the sun swallows the earth and you will then have people leaving those servers. But it will still be some people who is left behind who dont read forums and i'm guessing dont even know about transfears so they will remain all alone.
And all of this because the suits are to arrogant and proud to merge servers and improve the game experience for the players.

Everyone know they opened up to many servers and now they pay the price with people leaving the game
because they dont want to be alone in a MMO.

A guild on my server has strip mined a few other guilds so that they could have the numbers to do what they want. But the guilds they gutted are falling apart, can't recruit and the numbers logging on each day get lower and lower. The server is so quiet now.... there won't be anything worth saving in a few months when they finally bring in the transfers.

On a rainy weekend mid morning in the UK, 3 servers have a standard populations, the rest are light.

This is a problem me thinks.

I just hope that they find a solution before the game population crashes completely and the servers are shut down for good.

I am all up for servers merger. I know a few people will lose the names they have selected for their chars, or even legacy names, but at least they will be able to find more people to play with. BW can always "compensate" those who will have to rename their chars or legacy with some fluff or other.

If you go to this site it shows that almost all server pops are rising. http://www.torstatus.net/shards/us/stats

I would suggest rolling on one of the top ten most populated servers. I was ready to quit being on The Defenestrator, now that Im on Canderous Ordo I plan to sub for a long time.

Canderous Ordo has over 100 people on the fleet at almost all times. It is the 5th most populated server. WZ's within 3 minutes of queue.
