This is completely subjective, but it seems to be getting personal as you seem to believe I hold offense. I am done trying to discuss this, instead I'll just let you wallow in your misery of being unable to afford something completely non-game breaking.
lol.

like i said i can afford it. i dont want to go broke doing so.

you are the one that came off offended dood. it seems to bug you others want items in price to come down so it can be enjoyed as intended. be done thats fine and i dont wallow over a game. not that kind of person to let internet rage ruin my life.

Then post it in the suggestion box section and be done with it. Posting in the General Discussion usually implies that you want a discussion on it. Just because I disagree with you, never meant I was offended by your suggestion. Quit being a hypocrite with your comments about 'high horse.'

commodity costs across the board for crewskill items, mission launches, and repairs are fine.

legacy costs for perks are fine.

What's out of control is the cost for the custom gear on coruscant/DK legacy vendors. A couple hundred grand for some custom chest armor to make your alt babies aesthetically appealing is a little too much- I expect to pay that much for augment slotted customs on the GTN, but for vanilla custom gear with no perks that are supposed to be a perk package for players that enjoy re-hashing the content for the story? that's a little out of control.

Inflation was quickly getting out of control before 1.2

They needed to start removing actual money from the game, not the small pittance that was speeder training costs. So they put expensive crystals and vehicles on sale and then they put in legacy for the long term.

If you do all the dailies on a single character you get almost 500k after selling the junk to a vendor. 500k a day. That means the most expensive thing to get in the game (ship GTN) only takes 10 days to get. I'd hardly call that insanely high prices. The prices are adequate at best. They will need to keep up the costs in future patches or lower the credits you get from the dailies.
I tell you this: though neither he nor they yet know it, he is the greatest of all the Jedi. Jacen Solo is the living Jedi dream. Even without the Force, he is more dangerous than you can possibly imagine."

I find the legacy perks to be more of a reward to me.
Let's say they reduce the cost to 10% as someone suggested; or reduce them to 50k credits. 50k isn't a whole lot of credits. This game is just over four months old and a rather large patch was recently released (1.2) so we won't be getting another large patch like for at least a couple of months.
If they reduced the cost as you would like to, getting all of the legacy perks wouldn't be a problem for anyone and you may get them all within a short amount of time. By then, most people would have that level 50 issue where they leveled to level 50 before February even came around and got nothing to do. You've already achieved what you wanted: your legacy perks. You may even already have a level 50. I don't know. But, my point is, by reducing said prices they're just making things much easier and faster to attain and thus you'll end up having much less to do and have to wait until the next big patch arrives.
It's not smart in a business sense because once a player finds nothing else to do they have less reason to play. It's not good for a player because it'd make everything much too easy to attain and thus you may get bored sooner rather than later.

That's just what I think, anyway.

I've made 2 million credits this week selling underworld metals and grade 6 augment mats. That's not including the several hundred thousand creds I make doing dailies, pvp and flashpoints. Sorry folks, but if you're poor at level 50, you're playing the game wrong.

I would like to enjoy at least some of the "legacy" feature. I have the money to buy a few abilities that I would like but I can't see myself spending so much for such a little return. Some of the abilities don't even make sense. I mean 600k credits to make your emergency fleet pass cooldown drop a few hours? I'll just take the 600k and buy 600 fleet passes from the security vendor that have 1 hr cooldown. Durp?
