My sound still breaks at the end of every WZ, as soon as the winner is determined i get a very loud and static-like WHOOSH for all the medals being handed out and from there on my sounds are broken where half my abilities dont make a sound or i get no sound at all. Never had an issue with sound pre-patch, and I have to completely exit out and reopen the game for it to work properly again, only for it to happen again at the end of my next WZ. Ive turned ambient totally off so not sure if the airplane engines are back in fleet, but my sound bugging after every match is driving me nuts.

Yeah I get that electrical sound as well. I normally get it after I kill something with sith lightning and the sound stays in that area forever it seems. If I walk away the sound goes away but if I go back to the area of the fight for any reason the electrical sound returns.

My sounds seem to be fine for the first 45 minutes to 1 hour of play. After that time, sounds seem to drop out but not all at once. I will notice maybe the sound of the taxi or my speeder going away or becoming faint. I will hear few combat sounds. I eventually will not hear and most or any voices in cut-scenes. Again, this does not happen all at once but somewhat gradually. This all happened with 1.2 as it was fine prior to 1.2.

Give me an MMO that I can visit and have fun! Where what I pay for is not going to those that play for free.

Sound is still broken.

Still hear the loud crackling electrical type noise, especially in space ships and during warzones (hi voidstar!). I also get audio drop-outs to when using special abilities and there should be a sound but the sound just isn't there.

Sound is still broken (since 4/12/2012 - patch day). Do you really think we want to play without sound the next weeks?

My sound is broken still. Was perfect until recently now it's driving me crazy. The only change I've made recently was updating Java.

I thought it was just me experiencing random cutscenes with no sound... like maybe my computer got too hot and then it affected my sound card but now this thread has me second guessing.

I notice that at first the game plays normally but if I'm playing for extended periods of time suddenly I find attacks and cutscenes with broken audio... my lightning sounds faded, my cutscenes lack both audio AND the people in the cutscene don't move their mouths.

It's truly bizarre.

I'm noticing a bug when I finish combat sometimes the "fight music" will stay on at a very loud volume unless I log out of the game.
Such a lot the gods gave to me—to me, the dazed, the disappointed; the barren, the broken.

This is me as well.

My sound seems to work fine for about the first 45 mins to an hours. Does not matter what I'm doing as it could be operations, flash points, dailies or just hanging around Carrick station.

Roughly 1 hour in and sound goes to CRAP and the only way to fix it is to close the game down completely and restart SWTOR.

It sucks.
