BioWare said TWICE last week that subs have NOT declined.
Can anyone point to an actual quote ? The PCGamer article to which all others seem to reference contains no Bioware quote about subs. The only reference being an unsubstantiated claim made by the article writer.

This isn't the real Titanic. People aren't going to die if they're still on it when it sinks. Therefore, you're "warning" other people is just an attempt at boycott for selfish reasons, not any real concern for other people. You're attempting to make yourself sound altruistic, when that's clearly not the case.

I was thinking Id turn down toxic food even if it was free. Just the other day I was offered a burger from mcdonalds free. I turned it down because its simply disgusting and I cant stomach it. I do not go to mcdonalds and complain all day long about how they should make burgers differently tho. I simply buy burgers at 5 guys instead.

Sorry but you have no clue how the industry works, The retail box sales aren't outrageous; it is the industry standard and after all the cost BioWare gets a very small portion of that, further It isn't "bonus money" it's keeping the lights on and funding future devlopment and Arenanet will be doing the exact same thing with expansion packs they charge full price for even five years after they have been released, and lets not forget their cash shop ; I'm in the GW2 beta let me tell you it is going to be extensive.
No one hates Star Wars as much as "Star Wars fans"

It's called a metaphor, I advise you to google what the meaning of a metaphor is and you may understand what I'm implying.

Two major problems with that (ignoring that I'm not sure they can cut you off from support for game time you've paid for):

1. Game card customers would never have any access to the forums.

2. Bioware need to understand what will make people stay (or not leave), a lot of the reasons are the same again and again and are fixable.
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

You hit it right on the nose. They use the cash store just like LOTRO does and DDO also does. These games count on you spending money every month even if it is not in a subscription. They cannot exist simply on box sales alone.

The average income for all F2P games is $28 per month, after box sales.

Impressive. Unfortunately 27 of the 30 people that came to SWTOR with me have left (all long time SW fans all looking forward to SWTOR for years).

I hope they improve the game enough to get them back.
