I hope the merchant will be back soon, not the event.
I didn't notice there is a end date on it, all I saw on the launcher is "Create Your Legacy" before (Because 3 lightsaber guys).
And I was waiting the char transfer to happen on 24th, didn't online and check. I miss the Jawa merchant~~

You don't need to be a big user on the forum, you just needed to check the website in the last week on the front page. Really, they gave us a huge amount of warning, not in game, but enough out of game that anyone should have been able to hear about it.

Up until today, the event was still listed on SWTOR splash page! So obviously they had some mixed messages.

I had went to http://almarsguides.com/swtor/flashp...worldevent.cfm as he kept updating the quests as they came in, and near the top in the FAQs read that they didn't know of the end date. Obviously he never updated it once they announced the end, but I was ignorant not thru lack of trying, just misinformation. It happens, doesn't mean that BW couldn't have thrown it in game somehow.

Well first off I got every thing I wanted from the event, 2 pets and thats all lol. Next I don't see a reason not to let the vendor stay for a few days after, But at this point lets not let people make a fortune with their " I didn't know it was going to end so I didn't spend my DNA"

When the vendor is brought back bind the DNA to the account. Then the persons will have to spend them on items and not just sell them in mass to cash in on them.

I mean that is what the grip is about right? Not getting to get your items you wanted so bind the DNA to account and let them get their items.

I admire the effort trying to create an event but it was so ill conceived that it failed on many levels.

From people standing around in fleet for days just blowing up to the daisy chained dailies that took too many days to fullly complete, etc...

So yeah BW did a crap job. Too short and not thought out in the very least.

Bioware did a wonderful job on that event, i enjoyed all of it and they really created a lot more fun for us all. I enjoyed the merchant too, it was a fun aspect of the overall activity. They gave us plenty of notice but it was supposed also to be a surprise. The few people who exploited it were a tiny minority, most of us had a ball and enjoyed it all, I got to really enjoy the plague and the way it happened for us, and loved all of the things that we could do. Thanks and heres hoping for many more like that one.

Great event.

Wish it wasn't declared that the vendor was going away at the immediate end of the event. Should have been clarified at the start, or with a few days notice. A few hours before on the forums doesn't cut it.

Nice opinion. Here's mine: Lots of fun for a week. Lots of open world PVP to get the juices flowing. Things to discover and tell your friends/guildies about. It was awesome. The end.

i am sorry but theres absolutely no reason to extend or bring back a vendor because someone missed out on selling dna. ludicrous .

Nope, it doesn't. And to say that the only reason is so that people can sell their DNA is idiotic. In fact, the only reason not to is to create an artificially inflated market so you people can make more in game credits. In the end, bringing the vendor back makes sense because it doesn't continue the event, but allows people to make use of the samples they have already earned. I don't care if you bring back the vendor and make everything bind on pick-up that is purchased and make the samples bound to account/character. I just want to be able to buy the stuff that I earned. Additionally, they didn't put an in-game notification in, which they could have seeing as they had the same broadcast repeating and it is standard practice to leave event vendors, not the event, present for a few days after the event ends.
