No offense but I don't look back on running around for 3 hours looking for my corpse, or taking a 5 min break in between fights to refresh health to fondly.

I think if bioware keeps the occasional "hey this wave of mobs is attacking voss" events in the game will be plenty of "dynamic" gaming for me.

Games like gw2 and rift just don't appeal to me. I'm glad TOR and wow are theme park games, and I enjoy world events....but having a turd storm fall in my lap while I'm trying to level or turn stuff in is not my idea of a good time. Rift did that. I got to the point of kicking puppies when invasions would happen, and I just want to level. It's all good in theory, but my life is dynamic enough, I think sometimes ppl want more out of a game than it should provide. Not saying your wrong for wanting it. Just not my thing.
omg I am laughing so hard I am crying....and...can....barely...type... stop putting funny crap like that in posts while I am at work please...

I think Thegriss was just looking back fondly to GM controlled "Bosses" for impromptu events.

Those were fun events. SWG did this sometimes at some of the player controlled events.

But, I agree that 3hrs of being lost lookin for my corpse and loosing exp when I die are not what I want to return to either.

"NIB" (nose in book). How I loathed that. I remember thinking: Oh wow, this is so much fun, sitting here, staring at this stupid book.

Oh and "Lower Guk" corpse runs.

And this is exactly what would happen. Griefers would be salivating at the prospect.

Or having to stare at your spellbook until level 35... really who thought that would be a great idea?

Don't forget sitting with your face turned away from the action in addition to NIB so you didn't lag while trying to heal.

Ah.... good times.

Heh. Gawd.

And...hell levels which were VERY aptly named and I'm gonna shut up now before someone clobbers me for thread drift.
