Sound issue with 1.2

This is the most annoying bug I've encountered yet in this game. This is one that I feel is nearly game breaking it's that frustrating and bad.

The added fact that they claimed it was fixed, when it wasn't, is just insulting and makes them look sloppy, incompetent and deceitful.

Adding my voice to this thread FWIW.... Sound completely screws up this game, its terrible. It was okay before 1.2 so something got changed or broken. The lack of a BW response says to me that they don't know how to fix it. Also, I am probablty wrong but it seems that whenever I enter a Voidstar Warzone thats when my sound gets completely screwed.

You know this doesn't really inspire a great deal of confidence in the Dev's. They seem to be working with a game engine they don't know in any great detail and as this game evolves its starts to feel more and more like an early beta.

I can also confirm the edit of the .ini file does not work for me as all the audio settings are already there due to me probably using the sliders at some point. Not sure why it works for others though...

it's unplayable for me right now, sound bugs after 1 warzone.
If EA was voted the worst company of America, BW should be voted the most incompetent. And I was a fan of BW.

I've seen this sound bug happen to me... but it's gone now. Instead I have a different problem.

Whenever i'm on my ship, I constantly hear this crackling sound like a sith inquisitor is charging lightning or something. It's everywhere, even when I talk to my companions, and it is only on my ship. Logging out and restarting don't seem to help with this either.

Anyone else experience this?

Can you please try running the Repair function on the launcher. To do this please open the launcher and then click on the Cog icon.

If you are running the game in full screen mode, could you also try putting it into Windowed by hitting Alt + Enter.

Uh...any word on the OTHER sound issues that were said to be fixed yesterday but are most certainly not fixed? Anyone who spends 10min in an Ops will be able to confirm this.

This is game breaking in many ways to some of us...audio ques are something YOU (Bioware) have focused on...geezus, just look at how much of your budget went into VOICE ACTING! Everything is being negatively impacted by your inability to resolve this 3 week old bug now...it's getting ridiculous.
