Don't put it back. Some of you may not want to understand or care to, but it removes the uniqueness factor of the event. Some didn't pay attention? TOUGH! This isn't WoW or other games that weenied out due to people crying cause they didn't get something when a time limit was placed and announced several days before it actually ended.

I didn't get to use my DNA tokens and I knew the event was ending. You don't see me crying a fit about it. I missed out on it, I know now to pay closer attention and if I want to reap the rewards of an event - actively participate in it cause it won't last long.

Bringing that vendor back ruins the unique aspect of the event. Either wait for the event to (possibly) come back again (Jeevlec is a Jawa, they're crafty bastiches) or deal with the fact that people missed out on it.

Pretty please Bioware?! considering how awesome you guys are at making customers happy, make me just a little happier by letting me spend the DNA I worked so hard for pressing space-bar all day. I don't read the forums so I didn't know the event was ending today, but from now on I will be.

Because event vendors in WoW were available after the event ended? No, event vendors always leave with the event. Everyone is given the same amount of time and the same opportunity to know when events will begin and end. If you don't read the launcher, or come and check the dev tracker on the forum, or even pay attention to Fleet General Chat, you should still know that events come to an end (that's why they're events not features) and that associated vendors leave when the event ends. If you wanted (or want in the future) to buy something from that vendor, or sell the DNA Samples, you should have done that when you got them, not held onto something that would only be valuable for a short time.

Yeah. I paid attention and played the game intelligently and want to be rewarded for that. It's how these games work.

My suggestion is to bank it for the future. I'm willing to bet there will be some use for it again.

If they were to come out and say it was going to be an annual event, then I think maybe there would be less "QQ'ing". It would let people know that there is always next year, and that you missed it 'for now' not permanently.

Let's see:

• Event announced on the forums, not in game: not all player read the forums
• Then messages on the fleet saying to avoid Tatooine: some players indeed avoided Tatooine.
• Event lasting only a week: players don't take vacations or are sent away for work or get sick...
• Event only doable by characters > 25
• Notification of the removal of the vendor only a few hours ahead
• Vendor misplaced and camped by Empire players
• Items BoP

I would have to disagree with your last point, the Black Green Crystals did were not BoP. The issue is that the Companion skins were - I have 5 duplicate companion skins and my GM? He got all the comps skins. But he didn't get them because the RGN had a crush on him - he got them because had time off and managed to buy 20 appearance boxes - he got 14 DUPLICATES! (14/20 = crappy RGN). They really decided to mess around with that part of the event. We should be able to trade 2 skins for one, so if we got 2 Corso's (like me) we should be able to trade that in for 1 Mako. Heck, I'd even accept being able to sell them for a measly 1,000 like I did my Champ comms rather than they just take up space while I wait for Bioware to do something with them.

I was really annoyed last night.

I was in the middle of walking to turn in my last mission, and head over to get my event rewards when the server suddenly shut down at 1:00 AM CST . . . The server came down a whole hour earlier then they said it would.

Now imagine how I feel . . . I just got enough to get my crystal, going to get my crystal, and suddenly having that ripped away from me.

Please, Please, PLEASE let me turn in my quests and pick up my crystal.
