so you were on a pve server?

here on terenetek (sp?) My guild roamed tat the final days killing anything that was red. Including taking over the imperial sentry outpost. We greeted them with blaster fire as their speeder arrived to the station. Since they clone there, they never got too far. They eventually got a force together to try and take back their speeder outpost / sentry outpost, but even with the help of the 50 champs they dragged in, it wasnt enough.

good times! any truce that we spotted, we immediately rectified that. Was nice to have some PVP again.

Once that got boring, we decided to get even more brutal by overrunning their base nearby. Yes, the one with all those level 50 Champions guarding it. We eviscerated them as they landed, anyone who wasn't flagged soon would be because of the plague bombs we had, valiantly taking off their clothes and sacrificing themselves so that we could slaughter the unflagged pubs by the dozens.

We planned to head to Anchorhead next, then we realized we couldn't even get to anchorhead, so we returned to the vendor for one last furious battle. The Republic won the first round, then we came back and retook it right as the server was shutting down.

This was on a PvE server too, which made the QQ from people with Republic mains but Empire alts even funnier.
How did you beat the level 50 guards? It's like taking on 5 World Bosses at once.
Reminder: Mechanized posting is for non-trolling business only. Enjoy your stay.

No, Wound in the Force (***) is a PVP server.

It was disappointing seeing my imperial brethren not killing pubs on site at first, but I more than made up for it

truce on a pvp server....

pains me to say i noticed a lot of pubs and imps not fighting. They sold stuff to each other on sight. Made me disgusted. We always enjoyed sending in the airstrikes on them when they were all grouped at the vendor.

Me too, they were discussing things and shooting the **** around the vendor. Didn't stop me from calling in an orbital strike on them though

Hmmm. No honor. No respect. Just one of the problems with unrestricted PvP servers in games like this.

If anyone had tried that on Rallos Zek back in the day, he wouldn't have been long for the game. BOTH sides would have torn him a new one. In fact, I've seen more honor in EVE.

They're really not that hard. I've raided an imperial town with 6 people where we killed 4 champion guards (and they were in the same place, though their aggro radius seems low).
I think maybe the guards have anti-solo mechanics that makes them more powerful when alone.

Well 2 Imps vs 1 Rep is like 2 T64 vs 1 Leopard 2A6. Imps win because of Mass not because of class. Was quite the other way around for us. Running round the vendor slaughtering those hideous looking people^^

I'm on a PVE server, Darth Bandon, and I didn't see that happening at the vendor, around the bosses may have been a different story. But the vendor was an unoffical neutral zone. Gear up and then PVP in the more important spots.

There's a reason why servers are split into PVE and PVP: to cater to the needs of players.
Some players can't handle being randomly/directly attacked -> PVE.
Some players enjoy attacking people of the opposite faction -> PVP

I had my share of Republic players targeting me. Why would I complain when I personally chose to play on a PVP server? Upon accessing a PVP server, Bioware even has the decency to warn you of your choice in a PVP sever.

I have yet to see this much of world PVP since I started playing swtor. I say, bring on the "griefers", twas fun.
