I don't care about Jeelvic, but I will sign a petition asking to cease development on all future Rakghoul events and content.

What exactly are the negatives to keeping the vendor around for people to spend their DNAs, that were not around for 3 days?

Besides the fact that the items already bought will lose a slight amount of value?

Sorry man but there is NO excuse for not knowing when the event ended... The ONLY way you could of not know was if you had your General Chat turned off and you don't read the forums at all.... I know last night it was pretty much spammed in general chat to spend your DNA before the servers went down because the event was ending.....

So people were gone for 3-4 days from SWTOR and they just happen to come back the next morning after the event ended to complain about it? Hmmm yeah.....

I hope Bioware Dev's to a quick check on the people claiming this and see if they were actually on or not... in the past Bioware Dev's have called out people for lying by checking their account....

But in the big scheme of things doesn't matter to me if Bioware brings the vendor back or not.... Good luck with that...

They should bring back the vendor at the fleet or something so we can use the left over dna samples.

I love it.. "You are one to petition McDonalds too when the McRib goes away and you didnt get one during the promotional period. " We were provided the end date well in advance which takes the surprise and mystery out of the event as it is. Learn from it.....

/Signed.

I understand what people are saying about MMO's and just how special these items are. However, it's very common to keep the vendors around after the event ends so people can spend what they've earned. Yes, I am sitting on enough to buy my second crystal and invested a fair amount of time getting the samples. I know there are a lot of people who want the items they bought to be even more rare/unique, but this is just crappy. Like I said, I understand the event has to end, but at least leave the vendor up so people can use the items they earned. the people who worked to get those items are pretty dedicated players, so kicking them in the shins doesn't make sense.

i feel you OP. when subway was doing its 5 dollar footlongs for the spicy italian sandwich, i assumed that this would be a lifelong deal that i could take advantage of. however, they suddenly cut the deal, and now i have to pay the normal footlong value! what a ripoff! couldn't they have called me personally to let me know about this massive change to my life? don't they understand that my needs come first, and that people should cater to this? what kind of a sick world is this?

OP, i hope this mocking post of mine helps.

I don't think he should be brought back. If you didn't know that the event was ending today you must not be able to read. Apart from being on the forums and the launcher it was spammed across general chat of the Fleet and Tat last night as someone has already said.

All I would say is tough luck and in future read the forums or at least pay attention to gen chat while playing the game.
