No. Alot of people did alot of work to have extra items from vendor to sell because they will be rare, now you want it given to you. I personnally had to get an Op grp to get to vendor cause Pubs were camping it.

Given?

No, to spend DNA's earned. They can still camp it. Don't care.

I'm surprised the event was only a little over a week, and that multiple quests had to be opened a day after doing other quests. Personally, I was in China for a week and wasn't able to play due to having a job.

Plus, those of us on the West Coast are always at a disadvantage with the servers going down at midnight as opposed to 3am on the East Coast.

I second everything here. I do not stop to read everything that is shown. As soon as i punch in my credentials I hit play. As a courtesy, the vendor should remain at its location for those that didn't have time to turn in.

I'm not certain why BW would end the event, but not keep the vendor around for a bit longer for people that happened to not be around for a few days, or didn't check the forums in that time. I know BW is trying to be creative/innovative, and this is unprecedented, but this kind of pioneering is no fun.

Just bring the vendor back so people can spend their DNAs. I'm beginning to think this was a "SO THERE" to people that stress tested the Diablo servers.

Silly that this is even an issue. -1 internet, BW.

Wait - you admit that you don't bother to read posted messages ON THE LAUNCHER, that are there to inform you of important and semi-important items in case you don't follow @SWTOR on Twitter or come to the SWTOR forums?

You earn absolutely no sympathy for not being informed. If you don't care enough to do the bare minimum of reading the launcher before going into the game, you have absolutely no leg to stand on when it comes to complaining that you weren't informed. You WERE informed - you CHOSE not to take the few seconds to absorb the information.

So much tin foil, so little heads. The vendor isn't there anymore because the event was over. You all knew it was ending today, why would you think they'd keep the vendor? Then even hinted that it may return (plague spreading?)

If you didn't get a chance to use your samples, save them for a future event.

To say they removed the vendor cause of a D3 beta weekend is beyond rediculous.
That's why they call it space, cause there is so much of it.

/Signed but not because I need to spend samples. (Sold all of mine for credits)

I do believe the Jawa should have stuck around for a few days at least to let folks spend the last of their DNA samples. There are many reasons someone might get "stuck" with a bag of samples they couldn't spend. ISP issues, real-life issues that took them away from the game, quests that didn't reset, etc. I know that just because I play several nights a week and try to check the site a few times a week, there are others out there that would enjoy this type of even but might not have known the details until the end. Shhhhhhhtuff happens. I think it would be a good PR move to leave the vendor around for a bit.

ITT: People trying to make sure their sellable items are as rare as possible.

BW, just put the vendor up for a couple days so people complaining here, and the silent masses that just found another reason to cancel, can't complain anymore. Now that everyone who is pissed is "at attention", just put vendor back and at the same time, say the time limit.

Easy enough.

Only reason to not do this is so the price of those that saw the message can sell their items for a higher price. Really, not a good public relations move.
