I do not read forums like I have in the past . I do not believe I should have to read the forums for a critical piece of information regarding an IN GAME WORLD EVENT. I was not aware that the World event would be ending on a patch day and that the DNA merchant would be removed. Now I have a load of DNA and nothing to buy with it. I request that the Jawa merchant be brought back to allow players to spend their DNA.

at least try to do a little research.

I DID do the research and I was aware after the fact this morning.

I Believe it was also on the launcher. Not completely sure, but I thought so.

I agree with you to some extent that you shouldn't have to read the forums in order to play the game, and given the sad state of the community here on the General Discussion forum I am sympathetic to players not wanting to participate. At the same time, I wonder how else you feel BioWare should disseminate information about current events?

Having said all of this, I feel that for general events that involve any kind of turn-in of collectables to a vendor, the vendor should survive the event for a short period.

Then you are wrong... this is a MMO, and in MMOs there are worldly updates due to the living nature of the world and constant updates. There is a reason every MMO builds these websites to accompany the game and make you sign up on the website.

This is where you get your news updates. If you are to lazy to take 5 seconds to look at the website, while you already on the internet mind you, then it is your own fault.

Not to mention the devs have already hinted at the Jawa returning so you could spend your DNA.

In my opinion you should be stuck with it. The thing that makes these world events so special is that when they are gone not everyone will have what they offered. They put out more then enough information letting people know when this ended.

At the end of the day they will bring back the vendor... devs have already said as much. But it just takes away from the very special and fun event they surprised us with.

i vote NO. it is not the fault of the other 1 million players a few people dont understand how the average mmorpg works. its been over a week since it started, the knowledge of the end date has been announced by players on the fleet and servers for 3 days. there is no reason anyone can have to keep the event up for a very few players who cant be bothered to find things out with one simple google search. you dont even need to come to this site, this event was covered by EVERY swtor wiki and guide site as well as a few that sprang up just due to this event.

i am sorry but theres absolutely no reason to extend or bring back a vendor because someone missed out on selling dna. ludicrous .
