EVE only has a single public server and a single test server. The public server has no cap, it generally has between 10K and 40K players on at any given time.

LOL except it's rarely one day usually they break something and like last week and there are 3 downtimes per week. WOW learned fast customers don't like downtimes and theirs are way shorter. Rift manages with one down per 3 months average apart from the few 30 min ones. 4 hours.. 7 hours.. it's ridiculous.

Wait...WoW learned fast? LOL! I am sorry but I had 43 days' credit in the first, I think it was, 10 months for all the downtime. Forty. Three. Days.

Things changed over at Rift? When I was playing it there were plenty of downtimes...they were pretty short though. Usually an hour or so.

What a load of tosh.

-Staggered downtime

That is all.

I have no problem with weekly maintenance as it is needed, but please make the EU maintenance happen erlier, we lose half a day on every maintenance. Bioware should have seperate maintenance schedules, just seems unproffesional otherwise.
The Dark Side of the Force is the pathway to many abilities some consider to be… Unnatural.

They have already said there will be no staggered downtime. Might as well get over that now. Sorry you couldnt support your argument better.

If the downtimes were in the middle of the night, I would not care!

But they are between 5pm and 9 or 10pm, which is my the only chance I can play given I have a job with which I pay the sub. Because I am Australian.

For me, the people saying to 'deal with it or unsub' are still ******es, but they're correct.
I cancelled after my first month due to not really being able to play with a decently populated server, since I was logging on in the middle of the night - and the server downtme overlapped with my play time.

Then they brought out 'regional' servers! Great! With one located barely 1000 km from where I live, I knew I would be able to actually raid and pvp.

I resubbed.

Only to find out that they have scheduled the downtime for my 'regional' server to coincide with peak play time, usually 2 or more nights a week.

This is unacceptable. If you don't want to let me play your silly game during the only times I can, I am going to stop paying for it.

Whats unacceptable is you lying about downtime. It is not usually 2 or more nights. One week before the 1.2 patch they didnt go down period for the entire week. I think if this bothers you that badly maybe you should cancel. I mean seriously its 4 hours.
