Because this new generation of gamers are overly entitled and if an MMO doesn't walk on water, it is deemed acceptable to rage over it.

Well Lets see. I havent even been to a few planets because I hate to pve. Killing things over and over gets very boring. Going to flash points would be great if my server wasnt dead. My guild has about 7 active members now and the flashpoints we have done are exciting maybe the first or second run through. After that its pretty boring. The reason why is gear. All the pve gear is useless now in pvp. I dont know this list is just to long to write up. So I will end with this, the content is like a First person shooter. You reach the end of your story line then roll another class. PVP is now so screwed its not even worth grinding another toon up to 60 valor. The dying servers are a clear sign of what happens in 4 months to a game with very little to no end game content and a serious change to pvp for the worse

NO.... I don't get it either. Ive played WOW, Ive played Guild Wars, Ive played Everquest, so I'm not lacking in experience. I read more and more, and I just don't agree with any of it. And the more I say otherwise to defend the game the more people try to smash my face in with their opinionated "facts". I think people are afraid of trying something different and maybe something that has more story and individualism terrifies people. I find it refreshing and keeps me on for hours... not just when my friends are on because you can't do anything by yourself without getting killed on other games.

can you still get purple color crystals in the game anywhere?
Because when a new MMO comes out, people expect it to be "**** *** THIS IS THE SECOND COMING OF WOW AND EQ COMBINED AS ONE" as oppose to allow itself to slowly grow into a powerful juggernaut and let the game develop with a strong player base, which is what traditionally happens (Again, see EQ and WOW).

Yea, SWTOR had an insane launch. Which may explain it's server woes. Victim of its own success? I'd believe so. Hopefully Bioware can navigate through this awkward stage of its growing pains.

Anyway, I'm here for the long haul. I'm excited to see where this game goes in the coming months.

WoW after 4 months had its flaws and it only had one major piece of end game content. However it was exciting, the quests were in some instance mundane but overall it had a feel to it that this game lacks. I rolled a bunch of toons playing WoW, this game I have rolled two. My first I have pretty much given up on because I am in all BM healing gear and the nerfed the hell out of the commando heals. So go dps you say? With what gear all the combat medics stuff it took 3 months to grind for. Anyway, this is what happened in Warhammer. Throw out what content they have left from development, put in pets and mounts, rake in the last of the cash before everything collapses

I am so with you OP. I love this game. There are so many things here that just makes it better then others.

Many complain, but that really is the nature of forums, anywhere! I have never seen or been on a forum, where there wasn't a significant number of complaining people about everything that game or whatever has to offer.

It boils down to this, those that love it, just run off and have fun, they don't waste their time coming here to tell everyone how great it is, they do that by playing it and continuing to subscribe.

Others who may have the smallest of problems think that if they come here and make broad accusations and shout loud enough their one 'issue' will get fixed, even if its against what the majority of players think and want.

So in conclusion, it's just forums.

1. It's an MMO and these are Forums on something called the Internet
2. Though it is a great game and very fun (for now) there are things that could make it better.
3. What one person thinks would satisfy number 2, another person will disagree with
4. Because of number 3 and because it's a crime to accept that oneself is wrong, then the other person must be wrong.
5. Welcome to the Internet.

I'm liking most all of it. Some of the changes to healing in 1.2 have made me question whether or not I'll take a break and the free month. But I like the game overall, just disappointed in some of the changes. Not all games are for everyone I suppose.

A lot of the things said are not the game's flaws but the problems either with your dislike of certain things and / or your choice of community. For example not liking PvE and therefore not going to places and doing things is not the game's fault. Your guild having 7 people is another thing. There are those with 50 members online. You never even mentioned Ops. PvP is a matter of opinion. There are lots who enjoy it, I being one of them.

Let's say that you have also seen and done the things I have mentioned. I ask this question to everyone. How are the many FPs and their Hard Mode versions, the 3-4 Ops, any different from the number that any other newly released MMO has? Don't all the content become similar after reaching the level cap? I would really like to know which games offer tons more, so that I may look at them and play them instead.

Secondly, it is not about how much content, it is about content you enjoy doing.

If you have played any modern MMO, you will get the "been there, done that with a different skin" feeling really soon.
The lack of population balance and servers going ghost town are just making this more evident.
Oh goody, another member of the echo chamber I can shoot down. I've been playing MMOs for nearly 12 years now. I've played just about every AAA a title that has released, and a number of MMOs you've probably never even heard of. So NO. I do not get that "been there, done that" feeling. At all. And I think over 1 million subscribers agree with me.

Of course not everyone enjoys running some content over -- which I why I despise Raiding..and don't do that. However, my response was to the poster who claimed one had to be on The Fatman, and that one couldn't be 50 yet, to enjoy this game. So your counter-argument is not on point, and thus irrelevant.
