Like I said a few posts above, there is a concerning trend going on, and it is already being addressed by BioWare. While it's a concerning trend, the sky is not falling. Some people here have claimed that the subs are less than a million. That kind of drop cannot be mitigated by free accounts and sub times left over.
Actually you can't know that for sure as anyone with 3 or 6 month subs will be counted as subscribers till back end of May or Aug respectively.

Except it's not an argument. We know they measure subscriptions to include these people because they've said so themselves...

And vice versa.

It is interesting, though, how the knee-jerk reaction to BioWare's statement is "they're lying!!11!1" yet if BioWare came out and said, "Guys, we're bleeding subs. We have 2 people left playing the game..." the same people would think it's true, simply because it's sensationalistic negativity...

That was February 1st. They had just a few days left to actually cancel that move. The last statement by BioWare was within this last week. Sorry, but that doesn't apply anymore.

What's more is that those are people who clicked on "Subscribe" and entered their credit card information. What's the percentage, you think, that suddenly had a change of heart within a few days after Feb 1st? I'm willing to put cold, hard cash down that the percentage was in the single digits...after the decimal.

Within the last 6 days, huh? That screenshot was 6 days ago...

Hell, just last night we had 120 on Tatooine. I stepped out of my usual character and started a raid group, TWICE, for the World Event Bosses. Both times I filled the group with a full 24 in less than 20 minutes.

This thread is stacked with shills and fanboys, who type holier-than-thou indignant paragraphs lamenting the community, or some kind of amorphous, non-specific "entitled gamer," or some kind of whining and crying while they whine and cry about it. You people should relax, and understand what chumps your are for marketing.

SWTOR is in decline, just like every other MMO that's made piss poor decisions the first couple quarters of its release.

Can it be saved? Sure, if they release patch 1.3 within the free month people have left since they unsubbed.

I doubt it, but I really don't care. New video games are released all the time, I'll play those when my free month is over.

That's certainly an achievement getting 24 people for arround 20 minutes for highly anticipated event quest Sorry I can't hold on from using sarcasm against you.

We have no evidence to suggest that they've changed the metrics, but here's evidence that they have included inactive accounts with time left in their subscription figures. Sounds like you're just as blind and unreasonable as the "haters."
