BW is not just ignoring it. They have not said otherwise, which anyone who knows how to click the dev tracker button would know. They are not ignoring it. Again, they are not required to tell you that they have not changed their minds.

Sorry, should I have answered it like that? I knew exactly what you were asking. It was your second sentence that really bugged me. It basically says, you are entitled to be answered, even if the answer is obvious.

It would have been nice to know what to expect when the event is over. Will all the quests, world bosses, vendors, etc associated with the event disappear? As far as extending the event is concerned, I guess we'll just have to see if/how BW responds and hope for the best.

I'm fine with not everyone not getting everything without trading event tokens.
I bought every token that I know was worth my credits and stacked up crytals to sell at a later point for example.

I give them till Guild Wars 2 comes out to fix this and the fact that the option to add augment slots to all orange items.
This is a major issue for me and while the game is fun to play diversity in looks is too low for a MMO in 2012. Blizzard understood this with transmog. Biowar knows this and made orange gear, but didn't really finish the job yet.

This is especially bad since the Containment set is clearly heavy armor or medium at least ... the design at least.
I agree that the Voss robes should be light armor only, but so for example the Imperial Trooper armor should be heavy armor. Some sets could be more than one armor class.

The (well founded) point is NO ONE should be FORCED to participate. When game companies start down that path they think THEY (not you) decide what you do with your play time. It sounds like you enjoy this event and that's great for you. But, when the NEXT event comes along and it interrupts and disrupts what you want to do with your play time, you might understand what the rest of us are talking about.

I've already cancelled my subscription because, like I said, when a company starts making decisions like this for you you are no longer a paying customer. You're just a payer (all notions of "customer" are gone).

No one is forced to take part. Just like in RL you can take precautions and move on. Vaccine lasts 6 hours, and lasts through log out so I don't really see a problem unless you plan on dying on the fleet a lot.

When people come up and infect you, you are being forced to take part. When you have to buy the vaccine, you are being forced to take part.

I'd like to see this extended as well.

By the time I figured out what was going on and actually had the time to start getting into it, it was already too late to get all the armor pieces.

The event duration would have probably been fine if there hadn't been a daily lockout to gate you from progressing.
I'm not saying that was a bad mechanic, just that it doesn't fit well with something of such short duration.

A better idea for something like this would be a soft cutoff date for starting the event followed by a hard cutoff date a week or so later to allow people who were already participating in it to complete it.
Basically, if you did a daily quest before the 24th, you'd be able to continue doing them for about a week beyond that before the event shuts down completely.
But if you hadn't done one before the 24th, you wouldn't be able to start it at all.

Conversely, if you want to build a daily series of quests like this, you either need to shorten the lockout or reduce the number of stages so that people who come late to the party are not SOL before they even get started.
