Well they maybe WERE good at making RPGs... but that was quite long time ago. ME was pretty weak - more like an Third Person Shooter with some basic dialogues. DA? 1st was average, 2nd was awfully bad. For example Obsidian made alot more great RPGs (yet more buggy, that's a fact - but the fact is that those games were alot more complex too).

You do realize that NO ONE, really NO ONE, cares why you quit?

That's right. Everyone knows that it is impossible to be defending something that is good just because it is that good.

OK, I'll buy that....doesn't mean there aren't good ways and bad to go about making that known.....by definition, a 'complainer' is just that. Which is what I was speaking to, not someone making a valid point in a reasonable fashion. that is serving an important function and doing us all a favor.

I don't buy your primise. Show me some numbers that back that up would you? Or should I just accept that because it's, well, you.....nope sorry. Games including this one, can loose players for all kind of reasons, and I don't know for a fact that this game is even loosing players....might be, but all I know of is speculation. You're comment appears to be more of that.

Well I assume you know of folks who have done so, but it doesn't sound like that's the norm for the community. got any evidence that this is happening game wide?... If so, one assumes that it is probably more for folks who rush to endgame. I do not. Again, different interests between the two of us.\

Here's where I point out the fact that the game is young and they have many vectors they are working on, but from what I gather so far, I doubt you look past your own experience.

All I can tell you is that they paid attention to the most important bit in my book. Thus, you might consider that your experience is not universal.

No doubt it has a strong vein from KOTOR, and you can certainly treat it as a single player game, in fact I am soloing one character and it is much like that. I am fine to pay what I pay and am enjoying it a great deal. And it's much more than a single player game would deliver.

That doesn't mean that anyone who enjoys the story is playing it as such. I also group with a friend and we both dig the story.

You speak as if everyone is having the same experience that you are....I'm not, for one.

No. You see problem is I AM enjoying the story - you have to acknowledge that people in common will NOT pay monthly fee for a SP game. I'm enjoying the game as it is, even that I know it's flaws - the thing what I'm not enjoying is the fact that people are mass leaving. The problem is this is NOT that MOST people are seeking in an MMO game. And what more prove about loosing active players is needed than turning all servers from very heavy/full status from few months back to light and few standard @ peak time now? "Oh no, I am still playing, that means people are playing too!". You want exact numbers? Noone will gave you them but there's no greater BS that everything is OK - BW said they have more subscribres - and that may be certainly true. I would say that's even 100% possible. The problem is, which of all that subs are active. And there's just horde of people who have active sub left, who receive another free 30 days to their sub and won't event think about logging back. And yes, you should care what others think because a bunch of SP players won't save an MMO in any possible way - they will still pay for afterstory content and you will be long gone, because SP finished for you. As it was for other blind lovers.

No, but I definitely WILL pay a monthly fee for a full day of SP play while I wait for guildies to do the MMO play in the evenings. Works out great all around for a great many players who have complained in MMO after MMO about not enough SP content in their MMO.

I have tried and tried to like this game but it's so drastically unbalanced, plus the bugs that don't get fixed, I am outta here.

After I got MoP beta invite few weeks I switched over and started playing Panda which made me start regular WoW again since I haven’t played in months.

The guild I’m in is a multi-gaming guild and this weekend we had influx of people needing re-invites as they were leaving SWTOR for WoW, and was told there will be more. The reasoning was the same that has been mentioned over and over, they had run all the 50 stuff and were tired of it, no hate for the game just boredom.

Oh and I got a "Mako is missing your adventures" e-mail asking me to log back in that really made me cringe..
